Cashier job is worst in a bank. In our bank there are 3 employees (Manager , Officer and cashier) Clerical staff has to do the job of cashier,as well as you have to open sb accounts,loan , Neft, all transfers,Print passbooks and what not..one hell of a job😢
Same here Banks are so low on staffs, bank's perception : 'Everything is on the digital platform thus why would the customer come to the branch and hence thinking this is a one man job,' even the regional offices are directly conatcting the one responsible for the work instead of contacting the branch's head, hence leading to distraction and breaking of construction saying your branch does not has that much customer footfall you must be free. And resulting into such Mishaps.
Once on a very crowdy day at our branch one of our cashier was short of 1lakh 40 thousand and was unable to locate the error. Unfortunately the voucher also got misplaced as it was sent to the passing official who had diverted it to some other official to get it passed.May be to the field officer where it got lost in his files. The cashier was so scared that he could say nothing and recall nothing. Every permutation and combination was worked out and it was 8.30. Nobody could think of him making a payment of 70000 thousand and crediting instead of debiting to the customer . The customer was honest enough to admit that he had withdrawn the amount and not deposited. We went to his home to get a correction voucher signed and everyone of us could take a sigh of relief.. At last the cash was closed that day although we we too late to send ICCOMS to the RBI 😝
Respected sir, please get my confusion cleared as i ask and study as much as i can but it get more confusing 😊😂 the conveyance allowance to cashier is fully taxable or fully exempt for ITR purpose ( in my case 500/- per month, grameen bank) can we take exemption under section 10(14 (i) ) ?? Please help sir ji, अब आप ही हमारी ITR सही करवा सकते हो🙏🙏
How many D number of customers r....Upto 4pm u hav 2 serve D customers inside the bank premises.... Just collect all remaining vouchers from those customers and serve that's it.... Never get new vouchers after u collect sharp at 4 pm.... As days passes u get that speed, if not then take up the issue with ur branch manager to open another new cash counter for ur branch....if needed Get help from UNION people too...
In banking there is an old saying - " laws and practices differs" Here also law says close the cash at 4 pm. But practice says finish the queue. We are here to serve the customer. Now a mid path that can be adopted is - Ask the gaurd to close the gate at 4 pm sharp. No cash customer in. And cashier needs to finish the queue. Like this people who entered before 4pm are also satisfied and cashier is also satisfied. It hardly takes 15 minutes go finish the queue which is at 4pm inside the branch. Very rarely we have queue till the gate at 4pm. Thanks
I m serving in PNB where many customers are habitual defaulters they enter in branch just before 4 pm and then insist that as they are in que beofre 4pm they are entitled to be served.
Yes sir, If they entered before 4 PM they will surely ask for service. But you need to keep your gaurd tight. Mostly they do friendship with guards and guard let them in. Here you just need to mark the customer in the queue at 4PM. And serve till him/her. Thanks
