I get that completely, the issue I have with carrying something like this is the fact that it’s 22lr. My wife’s little ruger lc is not much bigger than the beretta but it’s atleast 9mm. I just think that now days there are so many 9mm offerings that are very small packages so there isn’t any reason for people to carry something like this anymore.
Yup .. well I typically pocket carry daily my Taurus TCP 380.. my Smith airlite centennial at 11 oz.. or when wearing lightweight shorts by Kel-Tec p32 loaded with Underwood extreme cavitators.. a Beretta bobcat 22 or even better a 25 ACP bobcat is good self defense where most attacks take place up close and personal.. point blank usually with a struggle.. up to 25 ft.. we're not going up against Hans Gruber here in his group.. we're going up against one or two thugs that are intent on robbing you or hurting you.. and once you fire those rounds believe me they're not going to stick around.. as expert Claude Warner States.. we're looking for a break in contact from the bad guys..
@@thee_adam_jaggerdon’t discount the 22, it’s easier with minimal practice to be extremely accurate under duress with a 22. The small pocket 9’s or 380s which are lighter suck to practice with, and you end up practicing less. At least with a 22, if I haven’t been to the range in months I know I can hit 7-8 rounds on a saucer plate size target rapidly.
#1 reason to carry the Bobcat is that I wouldn't want to get shot by it. you act like 22lr is silly. So you're cool with getting shot 8 times with 22lr? I think not bozo. your carry gun doesn't matter when you get smoked by a bobcat trying to pull your red dot Glock out. I would not discount this piece. it is a fine firearm
At the end of the day all standard pistol calibers are pathetic man stoppers. Pistols are only good at putting holes where they don't belong. Just know where to put the holes. I don't carry a 22 but I wouldn't disregard one either.
Sorry I'm not going to be carrying a full size high capacity semi-auto with optic mounted on top carried tactitard style (appendix)..& 2-3 mags on me daily 😜.. practicing at 75 yards fast draw..... we're not going to be facing Hans Gruber in his group anytime soon.. what we are going to face is one or two bad guys trying to rob us or hurt us up close and personal point blank up to 20 ft.. and for that a small pocket pistol by choice is 380 or 38 special.. but a 25 or 22 can also work up close and personal and as Claude Warner the expert says we're just looking for a break in contact.. one or two shots and that will accomplish that
Nice video brother. Looks like a fun little gun! I agree though. 22lr just doesn't cut it for a defensive round. Especially in a short barrel like that. Would I want to get shot with it? No. But like you said, modern 9mm guns aren't that much bigger.
owned this model in blued with wood grips gun, it could not handle heavy or even moderate use, there was a part in the trigger housing that broke and could not force the trigger back to fire in double action or single action.......i had the part replaced., then sold it.....i bought it new in the 1980 's at a cost of $189.00.......it was not cheap......it never jamed, just broke down.... Take it from me. I have been carrying Handguns for DECADES. That Beretta fills a real need. It is NOT always possible to conceal a large handgun.

Lol ok John
My 21A hates bulk pack ammo, so CCI mini-mags is what I feed it now. Great video bro, stay safe.
I was actually very surprised how well this ran the bulk stuff. Funny little pistols, once the kids are old enough they are gonna love it.

You must not be from Maine.

Exactly, I get it this gun is better than no gun but just carry a g43 If you want something small.

Great video. The mildly hungover comment locked me in.
If you were a skinny guy in a tank top and shorts in the summer...
Even if I were I’d still never carry it lol
