    I use just plain old, spice aisle cinnamon most days, but I love Saigon cinnamon. It's so fragrant! Thanks for this video, I can't wait to make some cinnamon syrup now! This will be perfect for cold day coffee drinks!! 💖☕☕👍

      @TheHomeBartenderwithAnn  Год назад

      Hello there, yeah, I think I found Saigon at costco once. But I don't have a membership anymore so..market spice isle it is. These days I use both spice isle and actual sticks. I do like it really spicy. This recipe is mild compared to how I do it now. But it's a great starting point and can be easily adjusted. Put it in that cinnamon mocha latte on your channel. I'm heading over to watch that next. I do appreciate your comments and watching a few. Cheers and Happy Holidays.

      Not to hard. You can always add powdered cinnamon to the process to spice it up if it's not hot enough.
      Appreciate it Pete!

    Great video! I just found a recipe I want to make that calls for cinnamon syrup, and remembered that you did this video. I like the idea of adding the stick directly to the bottle. It won't get lost amongst all the random unidentified syrups in my fridge.

    • @TheHomeBartenderwithAnn
      @TheHomeBartenderwithAnn  2 года назад +1

      It really develops flavor the longer you let it sit with those sticks left in there. But if it's not enough you can also go the powdered route. Just got strain it a million times! 🤪. Thanks so much for the support! Cheers my girl.

      @@TheHomeBartenderwithAnn I made some last night and like you said, it's not super spicy. I have it in the fridge with two sticks now, and have it penciled in for another drink tomorrow.

    Awesome video, Ann. Gonna try breaking up my cinnamon sticks a little more and toasting beforehand next time. And just recently started adding sticks directly into the bottle also cause of your recommendation. :-)

      @TheHomeBartenderwithAnn  2 года назад

      If you need to, try adding powder in while you are whisking and heating. Double strain multiple times. But it does really make it powerful! That's very sweet Jeff! Glad I could help.

      I do appreciate you coming back and commenting. Since this video I realized I like more spice than even this recipe has. Smash up more sticks and even do the powder if you like it pretty spicy. Strain, strain and strain again. Cut back in a drink if it's to much. But I love it! Thanks Matt! I so appreciate you!
