I used to eat omelets all the time at college. One cook made French style and the other made it American style. One day the French styled cook told me, "American omelets aren't omelets. That's just an egg taco."
My favor is an egg Taco I don't know what it is but I don't like uncooked egg in my egg no matter how good they make it sound velvety and smooth. I'm all vegetable and cheese in a taco of egg.

Isn't this voiced by Claire?
This series is what hopefully brings some of the old Tasty back - that is, recipes nice and simple, the very reason why I subscribed, not the challenge videos, giant stuff, can this guy to that etc. I understand that the content production is driven by demand and the almighty algorithm, but I would love more of the old Tasty back, and I highly appreciate seeing 101 back (one of my favorites)!
@Matthew Ciampa Wow, thanks for replying so fast. I'm happy to hear that, keep up the good work! Already excited for the next episode. 😀👍
The tasty 101 and the tasty is making it big is the only series' that will bring this chanel back
Me too:) My friend! I unerstand you...
I completely agree! I subscribed because of the food, not the viral cooking challenges or hacks.
I love it more, old Tasty

YES!!!!!!!! Tasty 101 is by far my favorite Tasty series. I love its simple layout and how informative it is. So happy to see it back!
my favorite series in tasty is 101! So glad you guys are back!
This format is amazing. I love how you've tried a lot of things and break down to us what works and what doesn't.
I often have omelets and I enjoy testing out different omelet fillings! I once tried putting in grated mozzarella slices and tomato pieces. I let the cheese melt and it was so good!
Finally another Tasty 101 video I can watch over and over again for no reason
Literally gonna cry, today was a bad day and this literally made my day 10 times better.

if you're a beginner making french omelettes it's actually way easier to cook on low to low-medium heat. add your butter and when you see it foaming but not sizzling add the eggs. stir the eggs continuously for a few minutes to create a very fine, custardy consistency. when it's cooked and thickened but still very moist you can add cold butter to stop the cooking and then allow the bottom to set slightly before rolling. there should be no browning on the outside. with this way you have more time to work the eggs, using high heat makes the process faster but you have to be very quick and aggressive to create a small curd quickly.
I used the American Omelette recipe a few times now and it has totally changed my omelette game. Water instead of cream and the steaming process were revolutionary.
As a person who is mastering french omelette for almost a year, I’m so grateful for those amazing tips. Thank u very much)
I feel extremely proud that i know how to prepare all 3 types of omelette. Personal favorite is the french. I just love the shiny buttery surface of a french omelette. I find french easiest to make also, may because i make it every Sunday morning.
Great channel! I am a fridge cleaner guy so use whatever combination makes sense with what I have. My last omelet was with lightly sautéed Portabella mushrooms, arugula and cheddar cheese. One technique I do is put all the filling on one half of the eggs and make sure the grated cheddar spills over on the edge of the pan. This gives a nice crisp cheese edge when you plate it. I usually add fresh cracked pepper and high-quality course pinch salt after plating. I also like oat milk instead of water when I have it. It makes the eggs SO much fluffier than water or milk.
I tried making the French Omelet and it turned out just great !! Thankyou Tasty !!
I tried to do the French one this morning to breakfast and even though I was not so good at shaping it and maybe I overcooked a little bit and chose a wrong large pan it was very delicious, I liked it a lot, thanks to you. Recommend everyone, it is a little bit much like waiting etc but ingredients are so simple and the result is worth it!
I tried this recipe and my mom said that, that is the best omelette she ever tried. Thank you, Tasty😭❤

I've never made tamagoyaki before, but I've heard it's so good! It would be great for bento too! The American omelette is overall my favorite because it's so easy to customize with my favorite toppings.

I followed the instructions for the American omelet (including cream), with serrano peppers, onion, and American cheese. Complete game-changer. Best omelet I've ever made.
Thank you Tasty. This Series are so helpful. Please dont quit.

I make my omelette by putting the egg mixture on a pan
Let it stay untouched for a minute or 2
Then flip it
Let it turn to a lovely brown
Make sure you don’t have any slimy egg left
Place the cooked omelet between two toasted breads
Enjoy 😊

Finally, I love this series💕
Thank you so much for the tip to cover the pan at the end for the American omelete
Just made their French omelette, using a gas stove. I recommend cutting back on the water a little (less then you think or it will we kinda watery) and use A TON of butter even if you are using a non stick pan as the eggs will stick without enough.
its interesting.. i was always taught to cook the omlette on both sides evenly so that there is no custard or wet bits at all.. i would love to try any of these now just to know what that tastes like..
I always cook my eggs 🥚 well done lol I can't take wet or runny eggs it'll definitely give me a runny tummy 😅😆..
I love the

We have finally mastered our scrambled eggs recipe. Now we can focus on this delicious recipe!
Take some olive oil and heat it in pan at medium heat. Take two eggs - break and wisk them in a bowl. Add salt and red chili powder to taste. Slice 1/4 onion, one tomato and one fresh green chili and add to the egg. Pour the mixture in the pan and let it cook. Then flip it. Add some mozzarella cheese and let it melt and flip half the egg to make a semi-circle. Eat.
Tasty: "We went with onions and peppers."
Tasty: "We went with ham."
Tasty: "We also added some cheese."
Me, confused: "Just say you made a Denver Omelette."
Yummy!
it's another page sir

The water was a good idea! I did it without stirring the omelette up, just flipped in the sides part way through then folded in half, and took it off the heat it turned out fluffy and great!
