Old Brisbane Airport Hangar 7 and a trip through the City.

Starting at Terminal Drive, the entrance of the old Brisbane Airport and Hanger 7, we travel the route my parent took when picking up family and friends from the Old Brisbane Airport at Eagle Farm.
This is the forth episode in this series, travelling through the city and along the freeway to Marshall Rd, i share some memories and some history.
I grew up in a time where a kid could go to work with his dad. He was a truckie, this meant I was able to learn the layout of Brisbane from an early age.
This route is how I remember travelling from the city, out to our home at Springwood.
These episodes are a recollection of my memories as a child and may not be exactly correct.

Out at the airport brought back memories when a young 19 year old Kiwi flew into Brisbane in 1974. Even way back then the Brisbane International terminal was pretty ordinary. Thanks for the video Mate. Merry Christmas to you and your Whanau ( family)

Did the train line adjacent to the old airport serve the airport or is it just a coincidence that it runs through there?
