One of Melbourne's biggest problems is graffiti and tagging. Drive down Monash Freeway, East Link or catch the train and you'll get an idea. Vandalism of public property must be deemed a punishable offense. However, the current Vic Labor government seems to view graffiti and tagging as forms of creativity, contrasting with Singapore's stance. I'm from Melbourne, didn't realise how many Asians are in the CBD, it's like 25-33% almost 1/3 Asian, almost 1 in 2 a lot of the time. Those Asians love the CBD, just saying. They may even change the name of the CBD to china town, seem predominantly Chinese

The inner city is just like that. I guess a lot of students live in apartment towers in central areas. Same thing with downtown Auckland. There are other districts with mostly Middle Eastern, or Mediterranean, or African etc. It's a diverse place.
