I cooked dinner. One of my BFFs was staying with me due to divorce. We were binge-watching some series and was eating in the living room, when I noticed he was crying. The sausage and sauerkraut dinner reminding him of his late Grandfather. It was their favorite meal together. I'm a true girl and started crying too. After, he recovered. He said, my version was so close to his Grandfather's it caused a rush of good memories and he was overwhelmed. And, of course that made me cry too. He did start laughing and sharing his great memories. I knew him too. He did request for a little more sauer in the kraut next time like his Grandfather made it. Whenever I made it, we made it together, in memory of his Grandfather.
Oh lord I cry all the time. It's not over like little things but if it's emotional, especially if it's sad or like someone dealing with and overcoming something really challenging, oh yeah, I'm crying. It happens out of nowhere too. Like I'll be fine and then all of a sudden something just clicks and it's like instant tears. For example, today I was watching an episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender because I love the series and have been rewatching it since I haven't in years. Well the episode was the Tales of Ba Sing Se and it got to Iroh's tale and the end of it got me so hard that I was sobbing for a good 5 minutes.
