    The day before yesterday, for the first time in my life, I observed Jupiter and Saturn through my telescope. I have a small and simple 80/400 refractor so I wasn't expecting any fireworks, but with a good 4mm eyepiece I was able to see both Saturn's rings and Jupiter's Galilean moons. It's been a long time since I was so excited, I felt like a little boy. I'm finishing collecting money for a new Maksutov telescope (it'll be maka127). Since the observations with such a small telescope made such an impression on me, thanks to the new equipment I will probably go crazy with Joy :D

      I use a very cheap 127mm/1000mm reflector telescope that looks a lot like the 4.5” in this video. It’s impossible to properly describe the feeling you get when you see the planets instead of pictures of the planets.

      I only have only ever had budget scopes, but that first time you see Jupiter's stripes and moons, or Saturn's rings with your own eyes, it's an almost emotional experience.

    I remember the first time I spotted the Pleiades. The first time, I used the Stellarium app to spot them but unfortunately I don't see anything. Well the next night I couldn't sleep well so I went out from my house to get a fresh breath and that's when I saw in the sky a hazy spot. First I thought that it was a very small cloud but in the same time I thought it could be the Pleiades so I took my small cheap telescope and I finally saw the 7 sisters. The were exactly 7 and I was so happy about it because it was the first time I ever observed them. All that happened 2 weeks ago in my village :)

    The Andromeda galaxy was the first object I saw through my small 3 inch scope. Though I was in bortel 2 (very dark location). I will never forget that night.

    I've been looking at Jupiter with my binoculars the last few days and it's amazing. You can't really see much but you can clearly see it's an orb and not just a dot like when you look at the sky with just your eyes. Plus you can see like 2-3 moons around it. It's really amazing to see, I can't wait until I fix up these broken telescopes I have and I can see them with more than 10x magnification

    I know everything how to use a telescope, how to find objects in sky, and everything, But unlucky i dont have a telescope. I have tried to shoot close photos of jupiter and saturn and also succeed but not that much clearly. In the photo of Saturn you can see rings.you make great videos.

    Thank you

      Thanks for watching! I used ZWO ASI120MC-S and it was indeed a great camera. It costs 160$ dollars and it's awesome for planetary astrophotography, but I don't recommend using it with its standard software. Download FireCapture, it's way better. What is more, I don't want anyone to take images of planets on a balcony, unless you give your telescope time to cool because hot flows of air distort the picture.

    My second experience with my new Celestron nexstar telescope, the night cold and off and on clear. I aligned my telescope ope and of course had to look at Jupiter for a bit but couldn’t wait to see Saturn for the very first time. As I observed Saturn, turning the focus know for the best clarity and focused in crystal clear! Oh my god!!! What a beautiful site for my very first time viewing it with a good telescope. When to my surprise something unknown passed direct middle of my view a UFO!!! Of course it was, I’m sure space junk. But that is enough to keep my mind wondering what else I will be surprised with. AND! Because of that UFO, I must start recording my viewing but must now save up for Astrophotography accessories!!!

    • @paganphil100
      @paganphil100 Год назад

      @ColoresLatinosTVshow: If its in the west just after sunset (or in the East just before sunrise) it will probably be the planet Venus. It has phases just like the moon and you can see them even with a small telescope. It could also be Jupiter if its somewhere else in the sky.
