The van looks great. 600 amp hour battery is huge, but you'll need it for the Air Con. I think as you live in the van you will realise what items you don't really use and which ones are most important to keep. Having less is more practical. Enjoy the good times ahead to come and look forward to seeing you on the road!
@Expat_Jimmy thanks so much! It's a massive battery for sure. We definitely need it for the AC and all the film equipment to charge though. Definitely learning what things we don't need already! Still have a lot to learn! Also it would be great to run into you guys someday!
Hey! A few weeks ago, I was in Korea and used your seven-day guide to Seoul to plan my trip. Just wanted to say thanks because it was super helpful! Please tell me that van builder can start importing those to Vancouver Island! How much was the build itself?
@@SMafam5 the build ended up being just over 17 million KRW which is about $17000 CAD. They utilized the space really well too! I think they would do well in Vancouver island especially!

@@DanLee8884 she's really good at speaking clearly for sure! It helps me out a lot as my Korean has a lot of improving to do. She actually has a degree in teaching Korean too, so she's thinking about teaching it someday if there's the opportunity for it.
@lostthenfound I feel like there is a huge opportunity in the US for some kind of korean academy. Unfortunately, the only korean language school are based in churches. @jkang7265 thank you so much! We were really shocked by the ACs efficiency too. It's not as efficient during the hot days, but we will probably spend more time out of the van in cooler places hopefully. Hope you had a great Chuseok as well, and all the best!
You guys are so cute and pure.
@@carterkimincorporated thanks a lot!
1st week fantastic. 2nd week not so much, 3rd it is more than enough, after you will not love it. That is the reality people do not want to admit. But I am very happy for you guys 🎉 and good luck !
@Mr_Busted thanks a lot! We are going to try our best to make the lifestyle work, and if not then at least we will have a camper van to travel in the future when needed!
Excited for you guys!
@marcellostraps thank you so much! Really appreciate it!
great review/showcase of the van! excited to hear about your upcoming project!
@BasicStealthcamping thank you so much! Hope everything is going well with your bike adventure in Korea, and are you going to make some videos recapping it? Would love to check them out, as it's always interesting to see the perspectives of people who are newer to Korea and how it is cycle touring here for them.
@lostthenfound hey thanks! I will try putting something together although it will be a but different than what I had in mind at the start. might be a few weeks or so. Just a few more days in Seoul. I understand why you love Korea so much, it's a great place!
@BasicStealthcamping oh that's great to hear! Will stay tuned to your channel (no rush by the way! I know videos take a lot of time/effort). So happy you had a great time here, and have an amazing last few days in Seoul!
Love, love, love! Can’t wait to see all of the adventures that lie ahead ❤ Congrats!!!
@katieguid2005 thank you so much for your kind words and support! Hope to share some interesting places in the future! 😊
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I would install a rail on the inside roof to hang clothes
@joemacdonald1980 thank you so much! That's a very good idea. We will try it with a laundry line first that can be removed, and then if it's inconvenient we will probably install something more permanent.
Looks great
@dyu4634 thank you so much! We are happy with it too!
Congratulations!! The retrofit on the van is amazing! I'm looking forward to your new adventures.
@Mudskipper9876 thank you very much! We are really pleased with the build as well, and hopefully we can share some cool places on our journey! Hope all is well and take care!

Awesome, congratz Matt and Yujin!
@RayMin-kt4iw thank you so much! Really appreciate it!
Congrats! wow an A/C!!!! in such small space..... have fun on the build.
@@5inSUVtraveling haha it's pretty cool they put an AC in there eh! Thank you so much!
Hey! A few weeks ago, I was in Korea and used your seven-day guide to Seoul to plan my trip. Just wanted to say thanks because it was super helpful! I ended up adding a few different neighborhoods that were off the beaten path based on your tips. It was awesome since I got to visit places with no other Westerners around, and I had the chance to chat with locals and try out new and different things. Wishing you all the best in this next chapter of your life! I really hope to return to Korea someday and plan more trips using your insights. Sending positive vibes and a big hug from Brazil! 🇧🇷🥰
@@WillianWelter-lt1bt wow thanks so much for sharing this! So happy you had a great time here, and really glad to hear that you got to experience some places off the beaten path too! They are a lot less predictable, but I'm sure it was worth the experience as it's always fun interacting with people here. Glad you had a great trip, and all the best eh! Would love to visit Brazil someday!

It's pretty cool eh Alex! I wouldn't have even gotten close to this build if I tried it myself haha. They did a really good job for sure. I don't know if you are still here, but hope your family had a great time celebrating Chuseok, and all the best with everything! Really appreciate all of your support!

@procekim thank you so much! An incredible van design. I have always preferred the width wise kitchen behind the cab - I think it’s the better use of space…. but then you shifted it back and swivelled the front seat - even better! WOW!!! Please tell me that van builder can start importing those to Vancouver Island! How much was the build itself?
@@SMafam5 the build ended up being just over 17 million KRW which is about $17000 CAD. They utilized the space really well too! I think they would do well in Vancouver island especially!
Humble Road start building these width wise kitchen cabinets please.
Great mobile home. It hot everything that I would want in a camper van. Best wishes for your van life. We are spending out last night in Taiwan before returning home. Regards

I feel like your wife would be a great teacher. I grew up mostly in the US so my Korean is at like 70 to 80 percent. She speaks very clearly so I can understand. Congrats.
I am a pastor but would like something separated from church as most korean churches, if not all are conservative. A academy where they teach language and maybe cultural things like cooking, music, dance etc. We have a 2 year old and wish something like that existed.
@@DanLee8884 ah that's interesting! Seems like there is a lot of potential especially with Korean pop music and dramas blowing up a lot in recent years.
This is awesome!

As someone with very bad digestive systems and have to use the bathroom frequently, can't imagine trying it myself but very excited to see how this will go from you guys' perspective! Cheers!
