It's crazy that you can take what is basically a personal jet and fly to australia in 35 hours. Sure you'll need to stop several times to get fuel and deal with customs but it's still amazing.
Great 3 part video on this trip was an awesome watch thanks for sharing, as Oxford being my old home town, it was nice to see it as the departure and I can only dream of trips like this.
I've been enjoying this aircraft in MSFS, since simpiloting is all I can do sadly. I was awesome seeing the real thing as you flew it to the GC. Aircraft delivery looks like an awesome job. Hopefully one day you'll get to fly into my local port of YBTH.
John. Love the videos of your flight to downunder. spent many years there . alas like one of your followers. I too use the MSFS2020 Vision jet . and was wondering if you could share your flight plan. it would be great to recreate it in MSFS2020 . THANKS in advance Kevin
Up Until you crossed the equator you landed at most airports I have flown into and with fail I have dreamt about flying there in my own plane. My old mum always said I was a dreamer...
Hello I am from Croatia I love airplanes very much I was amaxed when I heard what features vision jet has. I hope one day when you land at zagreb I can see the vision jet
Love that Darwin, NT is a stop for you. Was down there from Germany in August and learned abot the first flight from England to Darwin. If I ever get the chance to, I would fly the exact same route they took before landing ion Darwin :D
Hi. That figure doesn’t include everything else operationally. Fuel, landing fees, handling fees etc etc. Outside the USA you can easily add on another $500-$1000 per hour depending on where are flying and landing.
What about visa and immigration? You flew from the UK, did you need visa to land in Croatia? And did u fly over France, Italy etc without informing them that you'll be flying through their airspace?
Everything was planned. All permissions and Visas were out in place. I don’t need a Visa to land in Croatia. I’m from the U.K. and it’s part of Europe. Why would you think I would randomly fly through people’s airspace without permission?
@@johnpage8364 that’s pretty good I am in the market for a vision jet, I am waiting for cirrus to come back to me to see if there is any in the uk or Holland I can have a look at. Do you know of any here in the uk? Thanks for the response much appreciated
I really like small planes, thank you for giving a very beautiful picture that these small planes can circle the world

Film more take offs and landings those are always the best parts
What a wonderful journey, looks like a dream come true. Greetings from Argentina
I think these videos of yours are the best videos on RUclips
Waiting to see more content like this

Awesome! I was just wondering if it was in MSFS. Is it an add-on or included? Thanks

A brilliant trip. A bucket list journey. Thank you for the video.

I really enjoy flying this incredible aircraft through Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Heck ya! I love it! Good for you!

I'm very interested to know average distance covered before refueling
Good. Do you think it's possible cross the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to South America?
Interesting trip John.
Very good 👍
I've just flown across Turkey in mine 😊 ... unfortunately it was inside my computer 😂

Thanks. If you see the other videos you’ll see we ended up stopping in Broome instead.
Hi! Wich software/site did you use for the map at the beginning? Thanks!
How bumpy is the SF50 in turbulence at different speeds? Was the tail designed like that to try to make flying smoother?
Out of interest , what speed did you cruise at?, great trip.
Were your vectors really that straight the entire flight?
Amazing video! Did this trip really cost $36k? I hear it costs $1,000/hr to run the vision jet. How accurate are these numbers?

Can you fit ferry tanks on it?
This small jet seems to less max altitude.

How long was the flight time in total from uk to Crete?
With the stop in Pula, Oxford to Crete total flight time was 5.1 hours.

@@stuartgrehan8382 That’s interesting. Message me on Facebook or Instagram for more of a private chat about that.
@@johnpage8364 I messaged you on insta mate
@@stuartgrehan8382 Hi Stuart, I don’t see any messages from you on Insta.
It sounds very loud inside.
Had the same thoughts myself.
I guess my biggest fear would be that this plane doesn't have a toilet...
Hahahaha
What about toilet?
Don’t need a toilet. We don’t fly for more than 3 hours typically.
@@johnpage8364 how was your cruise speed and fuel burn? What is max safe range?
First part was about 700nm is it max?
We cruise at 310-315 KTAS, 65 USG per hour and a range with reserve, depending on the wind of 900-1000nm.
UK will not let you fly a RC airplane..
