Hi Alison ,from another 50 something witch! I have been loving watching your videos 😊. I was just thinking how similar your black salt making is to mine ... So many other practices too 🤔 - and then when you said that your birthday is next Sunday it makes sense -because so is mine 😂. Have a wonderful day! Xx
Aahh well that explains it! 🥰 I’m so happy that you’re enjoying my videos, I really enjoy making them for you. And I hope you have a really lovely birthday too! xxx
Thank you for sharing your recipe. It was the first time for me made black salt. I added some other things to it. I used dragonblood for the power of the dragon themself and protection. Cloves for protection against negative and hostile energies and powers, it also cleans the aura of the person. And some sage from our own garden. When I was making it, it was smelling great. Loved the process as well. Our cat Gizmo came to me during the make but, he didn't like the smoke coming out the cauldron, hihi. He is always with me when I doing some magical work. Maybe because he is tuxedo cat?! I don't know but, he is a very special boy. ❤
I LOVE the idea of adding Dragon’s Blood to the mix! I also know of Witches who swear by the addition of chilli powder but I’ve yet to try it! My previous kitty was a tuxedo boy and he loved to be involved in anything witchy too. I just think that all cats are cauldron born, it’s just in their nature 🥰🥰
I found your channel today & you've given me the push I've needed to get back in to my craft. Miraculously, I also visited Sutton Scarsdale Hall today for the first time! So to hear you mention it in this video is resounding confirmation to me that I was meant to see this today 🖤💫 Thank you! X
Oh my goodness!! How lovely that you went to Sutton Scarsdale! I hope you loved it, especially now that all the fencing is down! I’m so glad you’re here and I hope you enjoy my channel! Blessed be 🥰
That’s so cool. I like the idea of making your own. This is wonderful& I’m for sure going to do it❣️. I’m making my list of the things I need. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Hello Alison, I'm learning so much from watching and listening to your very helpful and clear directions, I have always struggled with processing information but you describe each step so well! I'm really enjoying your videos and look forward to the next one, blessed be 🍄
Hello Tracey, that’s so lovely to hear! I’m so pleased that you are finding my channel accessible. If you ever need me to explain something again, or in a different way, please don’t hesitate to tell me and I will do my very best to help. Thank you so much for watching. Many blessings to you xxx
I have lavender plants growing, literally on the door step, so I don’t want to put salt down on the plants, therefore I’m going to try making Black crushed egg shells to sprinkle around the house. I have used purchased black salt in a protection oil and I’m just waiting for that to absorb all the benefits from the salt, herbs and crystals.. thank you for the fantastic videos, I’m really enjoying watching them and learning.
I’m over the moon that you are finding my videos helpful. Thank you so much for your kind words! I love the idea of black eggshells and I think it will work brilliantly. Please let me know how it goes! Sending you much love xx
@@fifty-somethingwitch2406I’ve finally made black egg shells, I added rosemary and rose petals, plus a little dragons blood.. it’s worked wonderfully. The added charcoal that you suggested has made a very dark grey but it’s perfect for me.
Love this recipe! 🖤 I like to add whole cloves and a little rosemary to mine because I love their protection properties. Also: Happy Early Birthday 🎉 :)
Alison, that was a fabulous video! Black salt is one of the most potent magickal tools in my own personal usage. Adding a bay leaf is excellent too. I agree with you that its fun making black salt, and use whatever you have available, and what you're drawn to use. I buy loose activated charcoal in bulk as I use it so often. The smell must've been amazing wafting around your garden. Wishing you a wonderful birthday for next week. Enjoy your special day! Sending you blessings, and also to everyone who is part of this beautiful community. Blessed Be!❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed it Carol! It was great fun to make too. The smell was gorgeous and was being wafted like mad thanks to the crazy wind and the bedding I had got out on the washing line! 🤣 Thank you so much for your lovely words and kind wishes xxx
Loved this video. Even though it was so windy, you still managed to make a calming video. The wind made the smoke look amazing. Fantastic tips. Thank you💕
I’m so glad you enjoyed it sweetie. Yes the charcoal was really smouldering. It took ages to burn itself out - that’s why the video was so late to upload last night! 🤣 Thank you so much for watching xxc
I'm going to give this a whirl with my friend.....who loves protection and she'll also try to bind aswell.......probably follow your recipe _ no idea yet!
I’m so glad you’re going to give it a go! You can use ingredients that resonate with you if you don’t want to use my recipe. I hope you enjoy making it! 🖤
Activated charcoal is used for accidental poisoning. It's a handy thing to keep in your first aid kit 😊 happiest birthday to you, lovely Alisson, bright blessings xx ps what star sign are you... Libra?
Happy birthday! Hope you have a wonderful day next Sunday! Thanks for sharing your black salt recipe, it was fun and interesting to see. My black salt varies greatly depending on what I have on hand, so it looks a bit different each time. Thanks for another great video and for this lovely community here on your channel! Many blessings to you and give George kitty a hug from me! ✨️
Thank you so much Karen! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. Yes mine looks different between batches too, it depends on lots of things but I am happy with this batch because it’s super black! Of course I will give George a big smoosh from you 🥰

You’re so welcome my lovely. I love that we all have different ways of making our spellcraft work for us - and I think lavender would work perfectly in black salt! Thank you so much for your birthday wishes…and my dear Mum used to say the same thing too ♥️♥️
