Digging the box people really sleep on 10s I I had 6 old school kicker cvrs the black white and red cone ones back in 05 in a 04 grand am the box was sealed with all the subs facing up all powered by a audiobahn hct2300 it was very loud for those subs to be in a sealed box but those old school kickers sound better in a sealed box compared to the new ones but my point is for the guys that love 12s 15s 18s etc that never actually owned a 10inch sub due to always having large subs don't sleep on 10s you'll be surprised
I got 2 10 inch gravity's they punchy but go deep at the same time ...one of the spiders got fucked tho on one of them wont work no more
I had two 12’s of those kickers in a 93 integra and it was pretty loud also. I like sealed boxes. The bass is more accurate IMO. Maybe not as loud but they aren’t to far off. I also put two 10’s rockfords from 1998 in a 95 integra and it surprised a bunch of people. 10’s always get slept on.
I have 4 skar ddx 10s on a sk 4500 in a 1:1 4th order and they get loud at 49hz

Looks like He just used spray paint but went light on it letting it just absorb in the wood. I did a box like that but with neon green, blue, black.
Why don’t you carry the mini spl meter to get a better idea what they might be metering.
Take wagers. If Jacob is closest its free. If builder is closer its $5. Just for the fun of it.

The build is nice. To improve the sound the owner should remove the carpeting from the trunk, sound deaden the trunk and bolt the box to the chassis of the car. I gained more than 4 db on the meter by doing these things

I believe he built it tall enough to have clearance to slide it in there I've seen it done before. Right measurements it's possible.

U need more subs pay some one to design u a box for what u want low bass, band pass bass. You need a 6k or more wat amp with battery good grounds and alternator upgradeds will help I get that power u want
