It’s funny cuz support is the strongest class in every shooter I play. OW, Finals, and Battlefield 2042. Devs seem to think damaging and healing is equal to just damaging.
Yes kiri can tp but its like 50/50 if it will work or not. Cause one theres a casting time and two cause of ping if u are still there on there screen and they hit u it still counts. Also where u end up is also kinda iffy Once i tried to tp to my rhine and it put me on the other side of the wall. Rhine died :/
Even as a support player, I think support damage should be capped (I'll elaborate). For Brig, she doesn't really do a lot of damage unless she invests several cooldowns, and Zen has to charge his attack for burst damage or invest discord. Even characters like Lucio and Lifeweaver have projectiles that are most lethally effective when upfront. Unfortunately, I feel that Kiriko breaks those rules AND gets the free-est escape. It's also pretty easy to get double dinked from a distance because kunais are quiet with minimal bullet tracer VFX.

Lucio is just not great in the current meta, I do think hes really good but the other supports are just better, hopefully they will balance well in season 9
you proved that Kiriko is mini Hanzo. And now i think Halo passive (aka healing while not taking damage) could help dps and tank role to survive vs supps.
In my opinion she’s a more consistent hanzo as she has no fall off, a pretty fast projectile, a good headshot multiplier, and all you have to do is know where the head is and just spam kunai and massive mobility on top of a imo and one of if not the most impactful ults in the game
@@lukasg4807 I never said it does not that’s why my first sentence was she feels like a more consistent hanzo for a reason Both have good mobility kiris is better Both have a projectile hanzos has an arch making it harder to hit Kiri has an imo that she can shoot while under putting you at a flat disadvantage and hanzo has Strom arrow And kiri just has a better ult So they are similar but in my opinion kiri got the longer end of the stick
i constantly feel that kiriko punishes players for helping the team lol, there are many times i see a kiriko tp to help their overextending dps, and instantly gets hard focused. I makes kiriko gets more value overextending herself before just running away
My theory is ow feeds into babying support players because they spend the most money on the game. Thus, blizzard wants to keep them happy and just gives them op broken heros to think they're good players💀💀💀💀
actually kiriko is the first character that I hate more than Genji that I hated from 2016. and not by lore or smth, exactly for abilities and gameplay style
Genji; You have blade that 2 shoots people if dash not used correctly u die with kiriko i can 2 tap supports and dps and if you are low you can cleansed or tp
If you don't play Kiri like a complete tool it's damn near impossible to die and find unrealistic amounts of value. I think she might be the only hero in the whole game I will not back down from a 1v1 duel against any hero. With that said ..... IT'S SO MUCH FUN TO PLAY HER LIKE A TOOL! 🤣 The lulz are so real. She's like the ultimate backline assassin
Support player just cant take the truth that support role just OP in ow2. I've been playing tank from SS3 to SS7 I grind for month to Master but with just a couple of game as sup (2 day) I reached GM from plat that's why i'm not playing this game anymore. Love you Metro fire content as always!
We know are role is the most OP. Argument isn't whether we're op or not, it's that i think we should be OP. Not only do we have to keep an eye on everyone in the game, heal them, damage for them, save them, save ourselves... everything. I think the role that has the most to do should be OP. Tank just has to tank, DPS just has to DPS. I have to tank, DPS, heal, save, track... I think i deserve to be the carry in that case.
@@kambido890the reason you guys have to do that now is because of all the resources you have, your role has the ability to survive longer than a tank, do more damage than a dps and heal. We need to make each role do their intended thing not make one op and allow them to do everything.
@@kambido890you can split up heals, main healer heals tanks and off healer heals dps and you guys heal eachother when needed. You don’t have to do damage all the time. And naturally you should position yourself to live and if you’re being dove you have brig to switch to.
@@blast8593 I don't know if you're a support player at all bc you're missing the point of the role... supporting which is damage and heals. Do you know how annoying it is following around a tank or dps that are bad? Mercy is one of my mains, and hell of fun to play... when your team is good. Then, i go to bap if my dps can't hang, or kiri... If the role is any different than this... no one, or very few people will play it. The role is fun bc you're the carry. Tank and DPS carry in their own way but the allure of support is that it's the ultimate carry. Plus, if you play with a really good support player as either tank or dps... you're popping off "IF" you're good. In the end of the day... one of the roles is going to be super strong. I can agree with you on balancing and everything... but never change the role as it is. I mean, look at LW... he's a fail bc you're mainly heals with bad damage... few supports wants to play that. Mercy would also be really boring but she's not bc of her mechanics and movement. In the end of the day, the role has to be fun.
Let people say whatever about kiriko. Each time i play kiri i just cant believe how busted her headshots are. kiri is god tier at taking angles, flanking, getting kills, peeling, healing, enabling. But you are just not accepting the fact that her kit works the way it does so you should adjust your playstyle instead of just being metro.
He only got so far because of his aim (being a DPS main) and his VERY aggressive playstyle, letting the other support do most of the work with sustaining others.
@@QuickS4nd This. Kiriko absolutely can climb if you just out-DPS the enemy through skill diff. Metro in a Master 1 lobby could have done this with Zen tho... or frankly most supports, because his mechanics are so much above that rank. Most of this video was just him clowning on Diamonds for crying out loud, and he didn't even climb that quickly, because he wasn't doing his job on support properly. This was not the damning evidence of supports being broken I think Metro was hoping for, it's just a T500 player achieving GM5, with help of another T500 player duo, on a hero they have the mechanics for, but don't really know wtf they're doing with. I respect him including all his screwups and deaths though. Every time a Diamond player clowned on him, and he kept it in the video, he got a respect point.
@@AllThingsCubey True, I agree with everything you said, he could have played almost any other support hero and the result would have been the same (Maybe not with Lucio or Mercy since they don't require the specific aim mechanics he has)! And I almost forgot he was min-maxing with a duo too... hah! Good catch. But yeah, I am not exactly sure what he was trying to demonstrate in the first place, how he is able to just bruteforce his way up to GM5, or the power of Kiriko as a hero? Because I don't think he was doing the best job at either of them, the best thing I got from the video was a laugh or two. 120 ms ping with a projectile based hero... Well xD
I laughed at those deagle oneshots so hard. :D
you proved that Kiriko is mini Hanzo.
@@Crusty_Sword idk why you worded that like half of it didn't apply to hanzo
@@lukasg4807 I never said it does not that’s why my first sentence was she feels like a more consistent hanzo for a reason
Both have good mobility kiris is better
Both have a projectile hanzos has an arch making it harder to hit
Kiri has an imo that she can shoot while under putting you at a flat disadvantage and hanzo has Strom arrow
And kiri just has a better ult
So they are similar but in my opinion kiri got the longer end of the stick
the fact that a shitter like metro can even win a game on support shows how op the role is
lifeweaver next
known bronze, metro, just proved supports are just better dps..... How do you feel fellow support mains?
I have to say Metro is super entertaining,
awkward coaching metro on supp collab? 👀👀
So what was the real score at the end?
Love how metro immediately gets rolled after he says how easy support is.
i constantly feel that kiriko punishes players for helping the team lol, there are many times i see a kiriko tp to help their overextending dps, and instantly gets hard focused. I makes kiriko gets more value overextending herself before just running away
My theory is ow feeds into babying support players because they spend the most money on the game. Thus, blizzard wants to keep them happy and just gives them op broken heros to think they're good players💀💀💀💀
quality video great work metro
i thought you were a beginner in DPS too? damn bros been playing the game for this long 💀💀
actually kiriko is the first character that I hate more than Genji that I hated from 2016. and not by lore or smth, exactly for abilities and gameplay style
Bap can do it for free, larri has ashe dmg with a soldier healpad, lucio players are, well, lucio players
@@kambido890 Classic support player comment.
Make this a series with all supports.
Nah I’d rather play a game that’s all aim like CSGO instead of this garbage.
zen zen zen, zen zen zen, zen zen zen,.....
ZENZENZEN
GM 5 less go, Metro let's the hate flow through himself.
Now its time to learn Lucio if you think supports as a whole are a broken role 😈
This is what happens when you take Kiri and add aim
Can someone pls tell me what is this mouse pad? Gorgeous one, wanna buy it
Lamzu Energon!
Loving This 🤣🤣🤣😍
1:54 but you never stop jumping... lol
i wonder what was the real score
i main zen and i have to say, having more dmg and kills than dps must mean something (support is best role)
do this again on baptiste!!!
maybe soon!
@@MetroOW I mean he's a soldier with 600 hp it's gonna be super easy for you
Wait what was his real win to loss numbers?
85-43 was ending score, 20 of those losses was on Day 1 when I was learning / shit :D
You are a legend ❤️
what was your actual final W-L record to get to GM
85 - 43
@@MetroOWAnd “Kiriko has a low win-rate.”
Wait, he's never played support or half the DPS characters (projectile) before?
Apparently, dude just really loves leg man
Metro, a T500 DPS player, sweating his ass off, keyboard slamming, veins bulging in Master 1 lobbies:
-Breaks GM5-
"Yeah that was so easy..."
The thing is, if Metro wouldn't exaggerate everything he does to the point of being obnoxious, he'd be a more likeable person.
Smaller hitboxes, same damage has a dps, eitheir better movement or some bullshit that makes them invicible or heals them a ton.
this vid was soo funny lmao esp w the awkward comment
