I'm glad the only difference between high rank support games and low rank support games seems to be how fast the tank reacts to your callouts.
well theres barely callouts in low ranks too 😂 and even if they are they usuall arent helpful and make no sense.
Or just support? Flats was dogshit in the last round and was the weakest link in the first round

as a support main, now you know our pain. every second of support comp is turning your back on a full hp team mate that suddenly dies, having tanks or dps that just run off with out you then scream why no one was healing them, and being told your not healing enough when you have 10k minimum. Every second is pain is my point.
Dude, just the other day I healed a tank for about 1500 hp in a single fight and immediately after he complains I'm not healing enough. People are just that clueless.
An on top of that, if you are healing the most and arnt getting enough kills, they complain just as much
@@jasperdawnstar8530 Especially on Baptiste and ana. I feel like those two are the two heros I hear the most of that complaint so I just stick to mercy now a days to avoid that head ache, even though bap is my secondary main.

@@CaiofocaI've had the same negative teammates as well. Its not fun. 😂 last game a dps said no healing yet when mentioned both had more than the other team they said no dps and called out even the subpar dps on the other team...😂 when their dps was barely a few hundred better. I reported for being a toxic douche canoe lol.

@@handsomesquidward5160 Well, I got Masters on an alt account and I got placed in mid Diamond, so for that account it took 18 or so hours. But for my main, I have 300 hours. My main hangs around Diamond 5 and Plat 1 average.
@@handsomesquidward5160 3 months for me. Plat was ELO hell. Then Diamond. Quit 3 weeks ago, getting matched vs GMs while trying to rank up to Masters4 Sucked ass.
after watching that zarya get deleted instantly i'll be surprised if he still thinks supports having invulnerability abilities is a problem...and not the fact that a tank can be deleted so quickly from the high level of damage....which forced supports to get those abilities
My thoughts exactly. We hear about how tank is a struggle, then in this vid we hear about how support is a struggle.
That's also the reason healing is so high. Though I actually think all supports should have less damage but all of them have utility in their primary fire like meis slow, something that actually supports instead of just adding damage that compounds the DPS problem.

Another option was simply to swap zarya not only for himself but to also protect his team from 1shot? Guess going sig/rein/ram wasn't an option to him...
@@wispenx9681 what would that do? he had full hp, a bubble for 690 health total health, about 100-200 health of lucio ult and the smallest hitbox on a tank
If nothing else, Flats just proofed that even with supports at the level that they are at atm, if your team is deciding to trickle and int n just generally paying little attention to what's going on, the supports cannot do shit against that 😅

Lost 7 games in a row yesterday. i feel the pain. I've been doing my best every single game. But well, can't keep alive a a tank who refuse to swap when they are getting full countered by the opposite team, or when DPS are charging Zarya non stop , or when other support is throwing just for reasons ? if I queue tank, i'm never getting healed apparently. For DPS, that's on me, I suck lol
it is exhausting. And it's really annoying to take so many loss every time.

Complete bronze player here but I do both support and tank and have noticed that as a tank if you lose they blame support, as support and you lose you blame tank. Unless your DPS is useless DPS seems to get a complete pass on if you win or lose. No matter what I always feel like I'm being hunted.
If you climb, DPS gets blamed a lot more because it's a lot more obvious which DPS players are shit by looking at the scoreboard now.

bad dps = not fun but can sometimes get carried by an ace tank and support
So when Flats plays tank he says support are overpowered. Now when he's playing support not so much.

If multiple run off at once, the only thing you can do is follow and pray. If everyone does something stupid together, it is a strat.
it's like an alternate universe because i play asia servers diamond lobbies and support has the shortest queue time (sometimes tank) and dps is always the longest

Yep. I'd tank in OW1 when support became stressful. Two tank games now = actual headache.
This video kinda looks like proof that supports are very not invincible but that doesnt line up with what people have been saying
They aren't. People are just mad that the power dynamic from the switch too 5v5 from 6v6 put a lot of play making power in the hands of flex support and flex DPS heroes. Most of tanks problems right now come from the fact that A) Several Tanks hard counter other tanks, and thus gate keep certain meta unless those tanks are nerfed into the ground (orisa is the prime example of this). Beyond that, almost every tank has at least a soft counter, if not a hard counter too them in every role. B) DPS damage is kind of obscene, and tank buster heroes are all pretty strong right now, even if they don't fit into current meta comps. And C) because of how high damage is right now there's no room for nerfing burst healing output on heroes, which is a problem because tank damage can't be allowed to have DPS output, or they just walk into the back line and kill everyone uncontested. It's actually a pretty multifaceted problem, but of course Because they've spent the last year fixing over three years of neglect to the support role, DPS and Tank mains are angry that supports finally get to play the game.

I’d love to see maybe you or Karq do a video on how to implement tips from your guys videos into gameplay. I could be wrong and it’s probably just a me thing , but man I get all this good advice from videos and then by the time I get into the game it’s like my own instinct takes over and i forget to use any of the info I just learned lol

Don't feel bad Flats I got rank decay since I didn't play last season and I'm currently 2-12 on support. This games matchmaker is truly something else.
i think the worst part about playing support is you get the tanks that aren't as self aware as flats and try to do stuff and get value but because tanks don't mean anything but being a high hp meat shield for yourself and ur other supp/dps

It’s still the shit role. Unfun trying to actually play support and heal and the enemy illari and bap have both 20 kills, but instead of focusing them the dps go for the orisa and Mei.

Because no matter how strong the supports are, you're still reliant on your *team* to not be dumb in this *TEAM* class based shooter.
I think flats called it with damage output. Supports are strong because damage is so high. I'd damage was reduced across the board it would allow for more time to counter play, and healing wouldn't have to be so high.

Overwatch might be one of the only games where a charecter can not receive a single buff, go up a while teir, and still feel like utter torture and suffer while playing.

yeah that’s why I just play dps on support half the time, if I don’t put mysef in the line of fire, my tank suffers and gets one shot. I’m not saying it’s ideal, but I find myself losing if I sit behind and heal my DPS or Tank now, while I used to get yelled at if I did anything but that.

Nah I’d argue supports, every effing time I watch the entire enemy team turn their guns right at me as if I’m the biggest threat and I spend multiple lobbies getting 3v1, 4v1, and almost every game, all ults on just me or I can’t even leave spawn cause wrecking ball is waiting on just me along with a reaper, Hanzo, and Sombra. And it won’t just be me either. So yea no, supports having a much harder time than tanks, since we so broken apparently I guess im just bad and I’m supposed to handle a 5v1 solo as Zen or Bap😢
... how in the hell are you in a position where Wrecking Ball and Reaper can just roll up on you every game? Also most of the better supports this season can beat Hanzo in a CQC duel without the Hanzo pulling out wicked aim. The Sombra one more of a pure skill matchup in most circumstances.
@@LasertechStudios3142 you know, I honestly couldn’t tell you. I’ve been in several games where a wrecking ball was already sitting by spawn by the start of the game and would just keep me and the other support from ever leaving the entire game, same with reaper. I’ll admit, I’m a bit new to Overwatch so I don’t know all the maps that well, but just the fact that I’ve been stuck in spawn multiple times and in multiple games by these two characters seems just cruel and unnecessary. Also, I have dealt with hanzos and I’m actually confident against him and occasionally sombra (if I’m not the main target the entire game) even as zen.
If I can redownload and find the game code, I can even show you a game when the entire team literally immediately snap to me for kills and only ulted me and just me the entire game for just existing in game, I ended up getting fed up cause at that point it was just bullying and I wasn’t even trying for kills until I got pissed, and I didn’t wanna leave cause it was ranked and I didn’t want to get penalized so I literally had to take the bullying. If not for my team about to get a easy dub, they would’ve literally continued to ignore my entire team and just aim for me. Spent 10-15 minutes basically 5v1 all game until the last minute, and I still Dk why they decided to do this and I was just a zen.
@@kylecole4142 Its because you were playing Zen from the sounds of it. If you pick that character against competent ranked players you become the primary target of the enemy team's composition. And that's because a good zen player will dominate if unchallenged due to his raw damage output, while a bad zen player can be killed on cooldown by a coordinated team. If you pick Zen you have to play for frags and expect the enemy team to make you their primary target, I honestly would swap off if your other support isn't willing to pocket you through enemy dives.
@@kylecole4142 Learn how to play Brigitte and Ana is my main recommendation there. Brig is designed to frustrate those kinds of tactics as much as possible. Ana is not unkillable in a 1v1 like Brig is vs Wrecking Ball but her sleep dart can really frustrate a Wrecking Ball's dive and should buy you time to regroup with your team. Kiriko, Moria, and Lucio can also work by being really obnoxious for Wrecking Ball to kill.
