The ones that did mostly became atheists because of the contradictions and the ones that stayed probably have a strong motive to want to cling to religion as a means to cope with difficult stresses in life and to feel accepted with a like-minded community.
If you are a devout Christian, show me in the Bible where Jesus says it's wrong to own another human being. Show me where God says it's wrong to own another human being. Show me where you can prove that Jesus has saved people from damnation, brought on to them by God if they don't believe. If you can do that for me, I will believe. If not, I can show you where in history Jesus was just a copy of many other religious figures that predate Christianity.
It all comes down to free will. You choose to do wrong no one else. Because you will give an account on EVERYTHING you’ve done in your life. All those people owning slaves n stuff is wrong. Those people will have to give their account on that and be judged on it. And just like here we get punished for it. You have consequences. That’s how it’ll be in the end with our lives for eternity. It’s corrupt people. Just like today in age. Slavery is wrong. God wouldn’t like for it to happen, but it falls on OUR choices because we chose not to listen to Him. Our purpose in life is to find Jesus our Lord n Savior, to come to him so that we may be saved and go live with our father. And that wasn’t God that brought them slavery. Be VERY careful of what you say bout God. And it’s funny you say that last part because in other religions the VERY thing that Jesus said he was, other religions said, “I don’t know the meaning of life.” When Jesus himself said, “I am the way the truth AND the LIFE, no one gets to father except through me.”
Jesus said you must love your neighbor as yourself. In other words do onto others that you would have done to you. Do you wanna be a slave? Of course not. So don’t make someone a slave.

As expected I don't agree with this moive and think that Steven Hawkings work can't be summarized in one sentence just like if I pick out an embarrassing sentence in the Bible and said this is what it represents. Furthermore he did not give any context into what was truly said so in short a middle schooler is smarter then that character.
What's the context of his statement, then? It seems pretty independent on its own.

The only problem I have with this Christian movie franchise is not once, in all 4 movies, is evolution ever mentioned, when it is in fact the main problem with this country, and world for that matter today. It is literally stealing the souls of our kids in the same way as a burglar would in the dark of night, yet these Christian-based movies never even speak a single word about this voodoo science that's based on nothing but 163 years (and counting) of viscous lies, deception and deceit.
And the worst part about "evilution," as it's so frequently pronounced across the pond, is being taught to most of our kids today. By allowing this, we are simply teaching them to spit on the graves of our fallen war war heroes who fought and died fighting against Darwinism and evolutionism in Nazi Germany. Now, if you tell an evolutionist that Hitler, his cronies, and the entire Nazi nation, that they fully condoned and embraced evolutionary theory, and they'll call you a liar, and tell you that Hitler was a "Catholic."
This is true, but only because his mother was a staunch Roman-Catholic and FORCED Hitler to go to her church, but after leaving his family home, he never stepped into a one of any kind ever again for the purpose of "worship," which is something he fully admits he admits to not doing even when there, because he hated religion, and especially Jesus. The truth of the matter is Hitler and the Nazis not only wanted to burn down every church in Nazi Germany, but murdered any priest who did not promptly do their bidding.
The Nazis also used Darwinism, and its sick and evil step-sister evolutionism, as a convenient excuse to murder 6 to 8 million innocent men, woman, and children on an industrial scale, yet here we Americans are, teaching that same insidious and sick ideology that I thought we defeated, to our own kids. To me, this is just as sick as Hitler and the Nazis were - maybe more so considering how many kids whose faith was destroyed, and did I mention Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot - who all were also evolutionists and murdered millions of their own people as well.
Evolutionists also just love to bring up all that is bad about the Roman-Catholic church throughout history, but when you bring up the modern-day atrocities of this aforementioned group of monsters, they do what evolutionists do best - they lie to themselves. This is called "cognitive dissonance," and is by far THE worst mental illness that exists in the world today, that has been, and will continue to be by far, THE most destructive ideology in the entire history of mankind. Thank you Charlie Darwin.
Lies and deceit - that's the very foundation of evolutionary theory - and kids by the millions are being indoctrinated into this horrific philosophy every day. So, with this comment, I hope to get other people to help get a message across to the producers of the God's Not Dead franchise, to make a movie denouncing Darwin and his horrible idea as it needs to be, since it is THE biggest problem with not only science (by holding back all of humanity), but the entire world's evolution as well - because the ONLY thing that actually "evolves" is human innovation and the things and concepts it has created with the God-Given intelligence we've been handed.
This has to stop, but it most likely won't - until the day Jesus returns - and evilution will no doubt be the number one cause for his return unless we act now before it's too late - if it isn't already that is.
