Whether we like someone or not we should put the people on there who can win and deserve to be there. Gabby deserves her spot until she proves in trials she isn’t in form. But I believe Gabby is going to come out hard

I’m a Jamaican but I am so happy for TT to earn her individual spot. I know Shacari would make it but TT surprised me because I honestly thought Hobbs or Davis would out do her. But TT saved the best for last . Congrats also to Melissa. Well done ladies!

@@JeeGo-Aries-King Didn’t she represent the country in the last Olympic and the 2022 WC games if I remembered correctly? Before injury she was doing good. I do hope she makes the relay team.

TT Terry is an absolute GAMER! Respect.
She is! After what she did in the 2022 world championship, fending off Shericka in the 4x100, she earned my respect and became one of my favorite athletes.
Iron sharpens iron and Sha’Carri pulled the best out of her training mates. All 3 should be on the 4x100 relay. And I can see Sha’Carri and Melissa medaling in Paris in the 100m.
Melissa ain’t medaling trust me. The only athlete here who runs fast outside of America is shacarri.
Which legs do u want 2 c them run n the 400?
@@shamarharvey6117 if she can make it to the finals she has a legit shot. I'm not willing to count her out just yet.
@@mistermilkman Shaa'Carri = anchor, Melissa 2nd leg. TT 2nd leg during the prelims. I can see them choosing Gabby Thomas to run 3rd leg. And the started is a bit tricky. USA (to me) doesn't have a clear cut starter like the men do with Christian Coleman.
@@AnthonyWilliams_83I think the USA has such a strong team that they could put together 2 4 x100 teams and they both would medal this year.
First team , Melissa - TT - Gabby - Sha'carri.
Second team ,Tamari - McKenzie /Tamara - Jenna - Aleia.

All three are beautiful, talented, disciplined, and will represent us well. So proud of them!
Both Mellisa Jefferson and Tee Tee Terry had PB going into then trials of 10.82. Jefferson dropped hers to 10.80 but had she not panicked and leaned 3 to 5 meters early, she could have gotten a 10.78 i believe. Tee Tee was dealing with a thigh injury all season, so if she is healed up, she could potentially PR in Paris also. Also, I first noticed Mellisa vast improvement after joining her new training team when she looked extremely strong as the anchor at the World Relays in the Bahamas earlier this year.
Being trained by one coach is priceless. If possible put Gabby on leg three = blowout!
Guess it bodes well for Kenny B & Courtney Lindsey :) Felt for Tamari & Aleia as most ppl definitely didn't have both of them losing to TeeTee! Aleia will be 32 in '28, so can still make a Home Olympics 100m Team if she looks after herself & doesn't get any major injuries. Going to be an interesting relay pool depending on how well the likes of Gabby & McKenzie run in the 200m! S/O all 4 Collegians who made the W400m Final (and only one from Arkansas) after a long NCAA Season! Weather permitting, it'd be amazing if Top 6 in the Final ran sub 50s like the Tokyo '21 Final 🤞
@@imhereforitall9218 Yeah Tamari's start is consistently excellent, that's why she was 1st leg in Budapest last yr and @World Relays this yr. Will likely be Tamari (1) & Sha'Carri (4) with MJ, TeeTee & Gabby battling for the other 2 spots.

Looks like Sha'Carri and her little crew had a pack and they delivered. They probably told TT you better fight until the end. Just when it looked like Alea had TT, TT found a little bit at the end. I was like wow. She had one more push left. That race goes by in the blink of an eye but it was a lot going on there. Candace Hill was an after thought. She probably said I am playing the big leagues now.
@@AllInTheGame01 They can put her on that 1600m relay and give her that 2nd leg that Allyson used to run.
Congrats to ShaCarri, Jefferson and TT Terry (didn't expect her to finish that high).

I owe TT a big apology for my lack of confidence in her and my doubt that she would make the team. She gladly proved me wrong and I'm glad she did. I didn't think she would beat Hobbs but TT is a gamer. Great job to Jefferson as well who came very far and deserves to make the team. ShaCarri is clearly the fastest woman in the world and the gold medal favorite for sure! Next up the 200m. I can definitely she all three ladies in the finals in Paris.
TT said in the interview that she was dealing with a quad injury this year I could see it all season
Shacarri has a 95% chance of winning the gold in Paris but as you said lets see what the Jamaican trials will produce. I know for sure Shacarri will be on that podium in Paris not TT but she will be a big contributor on the relay team

ShaCarri is definitely the favorite at this point, but don’t write it in stone, and you won’t see an American sweep.
American sweep is a damn near impossibility. But seeing how much Melissa is improving I wouldn’t discount her for a podium finish.
She is at the cusp of being a 10.7 runner. And every 10.7 runner has a chance to medal.
@@kc5466 you are probably right, but don’t jump the gun, you don’t want to false start, allow her to get there, often times we see glimpse of progress and it never materializes.
@@nevillewalker1227 you’re right but I like my chances. I said Julien was overdue for a sub 10.8 since last year. And she finally did it this year.
@@kc5466 my comments is not to discredit your opinion, as a track and field fan I have learned that there are several things that need to be in place for an athlete to do well, so no matter how promising one may look, we have to run the race before the party, this doesn’t mean you should lose hope, just make sure you are not losing your home

was a great 100m trial run for the girls!! Shacarri and julien will be the two to watch at the olympics..it could go either way but my bet is own Julien Alfred... JEFFERSON COULD BE A SPOILER SHE IS SO EXPLOSIVE AND I THINK SHE WILL GET BETTER IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS
If shacarri gets her start a little better she is gonna win no doubt she can catch anyone she showed how easy it was to beat alfred
