At the turn, Gabby Thomas was in second place behind recently crowned 100-meter national champion Sha'Carri Richardson. Still, an astonishing finish handed Gabby the victory in the women's 200-meter national title with a time that set a record.

I knew it was going to be a lot harder to overcome a long legged, super fit and fast Gabby, Sha Carri is running well but over a longer distance like the 200 it will be struggle against Gabby because of longer limbs .

You need to know what speed is before you talk. Speed is only defined by distance and time... So the one who covers that distance in the shortest time has more speed..😂
It's hot air to speak about legs and their height.
@@muitawambui6585 Long legs/ longer stride does often make a difference though. Combine that with a rapid cadence and long legged ones can't be beat (best example - Usain Bolt). The taller athletes will cover the same distance in fewer strides. It's more work for those with shorter legs.
