- My cover of Nutshell from the Jar of Flies album. I'd been listening to the song a lot recently and felt inspired to try it. I also decided to include the short solo parts which makes the original very special, I find. Thanks for watching!

A perfect stream of grit weaving through a base of beauty…Not to mention lyrics you can deeply become connected with. Dude I feel you it takes a VERY VERY talented person to make me like or even listen to any attempts at trying to cover AiC but this song specifically I'll pick it to the bone! But I'll recommend a couple you may not have heard before Dallas Green AKA city and colour does a few cover songs that are really good a guy named Larry fleet recently did a cover of nutshell that was really impressive!

I would highly recommend City and Colour's versions of 'Nutshell' and 'Rain When I Die'. Both really, really incredible.

Another gorgeous cover of Alice in Chains. These songs always touch me deeply. The expressions of anguish and pain that come with this life. Staley shared his inner states with us with his one-of-a-kind voice. What a talent he was. You capture the sound and the mood beautifully.

Aw, I was so excited to hear the falsetto "ooo's". I refuse to believe that you can't capture a similarly haunting falsetto to Layne given your voice and singing. There must be another reason and I need to know.
