Picked the guitar up for the first time in almost 20 years, trying to learn nutshell and this is a great tutorial. Thanks!

It takes some time to get the strumming and cord progression but stick to it and you will get it slowly but surely! I taught myself based off nutshell and now I can play the solo and all! Good luck 👍

Earned yourself a sub mate. I've started guitar in November, and unsurprisingly have struggled the most with learning parts of songs. Nutshell is near and dear to my heart so it's the song I want to learn the most and this is the first lesson video that clicked for me and I'm able to hit the chord progression in time. Rhythm is gonna need some work but I got the gist of the song resonating from the guitar now. Nothing sort of total elation, I can't wait to dig through your channel and see if you got a Man in The Box tutorial. You're awesome!!! 🙏

Hey thanks for commenting. Try pushing the wrist out just a bit so that only the tip of the fingers are pressing on the strings. Thumb position at the back of the neck and always leave some space between the hand and the guitar neck. It's similar to holding a glass of water. There's always some space between the hand and the glass. Hope this makes sense and any other questions feel free to ask anytime!
