by no means am I knocking your beautiful cover of this iconic piece, but it is tricky keeping the tempo when changing chords or entering into a hooked chorus. i cannot sing nearly as well as you, but I'm damned envious how well you play this song on guitar. well done. thank you for posting it.

I absolutely adore your dynamics and sensitivity on guitar, really pulling things back so the soft vocals can float in space. This track I think highlights what was inside of him, what he was living with. He is the epitome of a timeless artist, a truly special soul. Love everything I have heard on this channel! If I was able to pick any song for this artist to cover, I'd choose "Heal" from Catherine Wheel's Happy days album or "Incinerate" from Sonic Youth's Rather Ripped album. I know it would be really cool to hear what these songs sound like based on this artist's takes on other songs. The attention to capturing the essence of the feelings evoked and the choices taken to make them special are wonderful. This channel is inspired and I appreciate it!
