I had a grandma who died before I was born who practiced 'white magic' we aren't biologically related though she married into my family but I am curious about some of the strange things we've found, like this horn type thing, and this clear box with what looks like our house with some type of seed in the box,

Hate to burst your bubble, but you're describing Wiccan witches almost exclusively. Wicca's only been around since the fifties, hon. Before that, a witch was defined as a person who helped and harmed equally, who cast curses and blessings and kept the balance of nature. The whole 'white' witch thing wasn't even around until after Gardner. Plenty of witches, such as myself, see no problem with hurting others when it's justified. Many hundreds like me do not follow Wiccan principle at all.
Omg thank you for saying this!!! There are different types of witches and not everyone follows the same path. As a witch myself too, I am not Wiccan and I personally believe that you can go with any path you like with witchcraft, whichever you're most comfortable with.
