The moment it passed the first minute I could practically feel the air forced out of my body. I had to sit down. This is amazing. This made me feel, EVERYTHING. I've never felt so alive, I've never felt so awake. And I'm proud and overjoyed that music like this still exists, and that there are still people who appreciate it.

Whenever I listen to this kind of music I always drift off into a fantasy world, but when it finishes I have to get back into reality, which sucks. I love this music because of the empathy it gives to others :)

I've been listening to this kind of music since the beginning of summer and it really helps me stay calm when I'm at home. However I listen to all kinds of music, mostly different genres of metal/hardcore but it just depends of what I'm in the mood for.
i certainly agree with you sweetee. i was not suggesting that this music is only for gothics. My range runs from classical piano (Mendholsson) to post-depressive (Imber Luminis). I was only stating the pride I have in this culture. Your culture is truly just as valid as mine. love and peace.

I like both of these kind of music. My point is that when you're alone you can't help but think about things which torment you, see what I mean ? RnB can be more enjoyable with friends whereas goth/dark ambient music is way more cheering if you're alone.

As for me, I grew up listening to things like Enya.. helped me find the beauty in music, unlike the crap on the radio nowadays.
