Thanks for your honesty, but you should not hedge on your opinion of price versus value. I looked at this SUV at the dealership and the materials do not reflect a $60,000 price tag, not even close. For the entry-level model, $40,000 is about the max this thing is worth. As for fuel mileage ratio, all manufacturers lie. I have yet to hear a normal driver report that they achieved the manufacturer's claimed fuel mileage ratio. I bought a four-cylinder SUV to save on gas, and it gets about 6 highway miles less per gallon than the manufacturer said it would. They are scammers.

The way you talk about how big this vehicle is, I had to look up the dimensions - wow, it is over 2 feet shorter than a Suburban, and I never felt that the length of the Expedition Max or a Suburban was a problem to drive or park.

Great review I have the 4T and opted to not get the hybrid max which was 600 pounds heavier I found that made it feel like a boat . You can’t beat the 4 T a fantastic for the money bargain.

With the soft suspension and body motion/roll, there're going to be lots of kids having motion sickness in this suv. There have been reportd of vibrating hood and hollow boom sounds as well. Perhaps, Toyota made the GH light in weight to compensate for the small engine and gas savings. I read somewhere that the GH is almost equal in weight to the regular highlander. Thanks for the balanced and honest review.

Great review. But it obviously lacks the drama and uncertainty associated with owning an older German car. Crazy E55 experiences keep us on the edge of our seats. In contrast, this is a Toyota so reliable you could bequeath it to your grandchildren when your children imprison you in the old folks' home.
Nothing can replace the joy of old German car drama...especially when it's someone else's experiencing the drama and expense!

The best garage is both! A Toyota you can count on and a German car to let you dow.. 🤣

Yeah, I like the bike test on your reviews. A lot. I have to take the front wheel off my bike to fit it in the back of my NX. Fine, I can do that. Would I rather put it on a trailer hitch mount on the back of a pickup or another SUV? Maybe. But I'm not gonna buy a huge Highlander Grand for my bike. I watched your review on the Hyundai SANTA CRUZ
, and I'm not sure I like dangling the wheel out. But it's not bad. Can I pop the front wheel off and lay it down, or will I use the trailer hitch? That Santa Cruz is really tempting.

If only they would offer a Plug in Hybrid. Mazda did it with the CX-90. 💁‍♂️

Nobody is buying plug in hybrid to save $50 on gas a month. It’s silly

The styling is extremely boring and generic from 2015.. nothing new and different about it, looks outdated for some reason
