Thinking fast if i told them the truth they would be back with extension cords. I said when the power bill arrives i pay it that day. They have no reason to shut off my power. They left looking very confused.
Those AGM batteries are something else. When i use to work at advance auto parts years ago, a dude came in and wanted the charging system checked, i opened the hood and the battery wasn't where it was supposed to be, it was hanging in between the radiator and cooling fan, a lot of the battery was completely missing (chewed away from the cooling fan). the darn thing still had enough to start the vehicle. I was baffled that the battery still worked, and baffled how he couldn't hear the battery being chewed up by the cooling fan. He said he was on the highway and ran over a massive pothole. but he probably forgot to either tighten the battery strap or forgot to put the strap on and it slid into the fan when turning.
Well, I guess my next battery is going to be an Optima! That's freaking amazing! Almost 3/4 of the battery is completely gone, how is it possible that it still works?? If it was April 1st I'd swear you were pranking us 🤣
I'm slightly scared of what would happen if you tried to charge it...but I also wanna see. Do not do that indoors or near anything other than wide open concrete lmao

@@madmax2069 It has a liquid in it that eats your skin, I handled one that exploded in a vehicle. I removed the battery and where it split open this gooey liquid for on my hands. And a few days later all the skin on my hands started to peel. I know the difference between an AGM and Leas Acid.

It overheated but it’s charged now and seems to be fine. Going to be running dual yellow tops now, these batteries are awesome.

This is something that Optima Batteries needs to do an advertising campaign with to show the world just how resilient their batteries really are, and of course give you free batteries for all your vehicles including the forklift. The deep cycles are buried, so it would be difficult to check water levels. That, and my last set lasted 9 years, is why I buy 4 Optimas! Thanks for sharing. Now hire a weldor to install a battery box! 🤣🤣🤣
Optima's quality has gone down also over the years. Other agm battery brands seem to last longer, which is odd being that they (different brands and optima) are all made by the same companies (Johnson Controls or Clarios).
If OPTIMA sees this video and doesn't give you a new battery for showing how good theirs are something is wrong! lol
You can do this with any AGM battery.
That's crazy. But maybe if you know any welders, they could build you a battery box or tray for your trailer. 😜
He needs a welder, fitter, engineer, mechanic and an electrician. No one person could do all those things.

Yeah, seen a guy with a truck with one that was almost completely gone and still had just enough to start the truck and accept a charge.
