- Hello my beautiful fam! Welcome back to my kitchen today I’m going to share with you how To make the best champurrado, this is the updated version, if you tried my recipe before this is the same one tbh I couldn’t find a way to make it any more perfect! I just did a few things differently for example instead of boiling the cinnamon and cloves then straining it, I just put it in a little bundle to make it easy to remove, after trying this method for my cold brew coffee I figured why not just do it with every drink that requires to get the flavor of the spices, anyways and I used the blender to mix the Maseca and evaporated milk☺️💕keep in mind like every recipe and every household there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe, you can always adjust it to your taste, I really hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family do, and as always if you do please don’t forget to give me a big thumbs up, comment down below your thoughts and if you new to my channel please hit that subscribe buttons so you can be part of our family!!!!!! 😘
🛑- Pots are from calphalon
🛑-I’m using the vitamix a3500
🛑- Im using a molincillo to whisk and stirred my champurrado, found at Bashas 😉

👋 hi
claudia YAS girl .... this is my favorite. it's been years!
It looks hella good 😌
Is this like a "Hot Chocolate or hot Coco"?
mija explain well, is it champurrado, atole or chocolate ??? Because all three are very different things, inform yourself well so that you do not confuse people, I am from Mexico that is why I tell you because I know how the three things are done
I love making this for my family (bc of my diabetes I can’t have any.)just a little tip here: for a more authentic flavor when using maseca instead of Pinole, toast the maseca on a medium hot pan until it changes to a light brown color. You’ll notice the difference in flavor!!
Great tip. I’ll try that next time.
I actually tried that after blending it with the leche evaporada and it actually gave it a better taste thank you!
Best tip I've heard about champurrado...
"Once you burn it you can't fix it!" So true 👍🏻💯

Made this yesterday for my family to go with tamales and pan dulce and it was a hit. I loved it too. This was my first time making it. Will not be changing a thing. I plan to make this every year for our Christmas gatherings.
Thanks a million for teaching how to make champurrado! OMG I've been craving this since the last time 7 years ago a very close family friend from Mexico invited me over and her mom had made champurrado de chocolate. Well, she's never made it again and I always would ask her for the recipe and she gave me the run around...go figure! Then I said you know what I'm gonna make it. Found many videos, but yours very easy, straight forward, love it...I made it for Thanksgiving and my whole fam loved it...I'm making it again now to warm up a bit since winter is upon us...I'm from the midwest. Thank you girly love your recipes! You got a loyal sub now!!! xo Johi from IL

That wooden mallet thing looks like something from Mid-Evil times!!! Nice!
Thank you Claudia for sharing your recipe just wanted to let you know that I made it vegan by using almond and cashew milk instead of the evaporated and cows milk .. ❤️
Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎄🎄🎄🎁♥️🙏🏾
Love it merry Christmas
I want to say your the best thank you for las recetas they are bomb love ya
I’m going to try and make this; thank you!
Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!!
Since I’m plant based,I think I’ll just use coconut cream in place of evaporated milk and milk - and just adjust with water if needed. Also, I can’t get that sugar, but I can’t have sugar either, soI would use molasses, erythritol and stevia. Altogether, it is sooo delicious. One can also make sweet condensed plant based milk from coconut milk powder (recipe Chef Jana YT), which could be used here, I’m sure. I would be interested in trying carob in place of chocolate too, personally I find it more pleasant... Thanks for a great video, just heard about this and thought it sounded soooo delicious! 😋
Toasting the maseca gives it much more flavor, great recipe in general. You can also thicken it with some Maria cookies !
Mmmmgoood I want some 😋
I literally just made some the day of the World series! When my boys in blue won 💙🙌 I make mine similar, w/o Vanilla & cloves! It's the best con bolillo or cemitas! Provecho 💞
Go Dodgers!!⚾️💙
Looks amazing
