I'm planning to sell my HUAWEI MATEPAD because of its lack of apps. I downloaded some apps that can be found in Google Play via APK. I realized that almost all apps have a subscription or upgrade that needed to be availed, but I couldn't avail the app since the Huawei has no Google Play. If only Huawei has its own great and plenty of apps to choose from then will be maximized the used and it will become more beneficial for users. This is based on my experience and a piece of opinion.

I had a matepad, excellent hardware just let down by lack of widevine. No point having an amazing screen if you are stuck watching content in horrific quality. Ended up with a Tab A7 which is significantly slower and less premium, but at least plays HD content.
Very nice looking tablet. Ive been looking for something to take outside with me for the Drone and other things so I dont have to take out my Big Expensive Ipad Pro 12.9" lol, so far its between the S7 Plus, this MatePad, and the MiPad, tough descisions with how advanced Tablets are becoming nowadays. I think android tablets are making a comeback.

For example, I can use my phone like a remote with Smartthings and I can also connect bluetooth headphones. I can turn on my air conditioner outside my house. What's extra for HarmonyOs?(Like can I use without app, or control multi devices at the same time?) Can't we do it with android? I've heard android auto for example, or google pay. Correct me if I'm wrong, other companies can use this Os, right? Will HarmonyOs devices have software overlay like EMUI or OneUI to specialise the experience? Hi, One question, I tap m-pencil on the Block or sleep screen of the tablet and nothing happened. Any advice ? I have tried to unpair the device, turn off the device and pair it again. Tablet is not opening any app. I have to admit that I have deleted some apps and I wonder if there is some specific app for that, maybe accidentaly I remove it. Beside that pencil is working perfectly.
Apkpure is actually virusfree(its checked) and its the site where u get 99.9℅ of apps for huaweii. If u download from somewhere else, its very hard to actually get virus, but if u somehow would, device wouldnt let u install it anyways.
The refresh rate goes to matepad 11 but it consumes the battery. All goes to the matepad 11 pro . The matepad 11 pro has a sim card and wifi. The matepad 11 has only wifi.

I find it odd that Huawei trying to claim that Harmony OS doesn't run Android when really it is just another software which is still built based off of it.
Harmony OS is not Android! The Matepad 11 has a dual kernel so Harmony OS with Android on the other kernel. Harmony OS will run most of their mobile and IoT hardware and will not always have Android, so technically Huawei are right though it is semantics?
If you can't tell the difference between 2k video and sd quality you need an opticians badly, and you can babble on all you want about Harmony is, but it will not allow you to do any banking payments or whatever here in Norway, that's why my last Huawei phone was the p30 pro which did have Google on it, and until this changes me and the vast majority here in Scandinavian countries will not be buying Huawei

I pre-ordered the Matepad 11 and I gotta say it`s great but somehow in my package it didnt include a headphone jack adapter...either I didn`t saw it in the package (which I looked after mutiple times) or Huawei didn´t include an adapter

It has a good display with nice colors, 120hz refresh rate and nice sounding speakers but I'm kinda disappointed with the battery.....Mostly I use the tablet for consuming media platform, facetiming friends and family and trying to be creative like drawing and writing I can recommend it but only if you look past that it has no google services and the tablet comes good especially if you already have a Huawei device
@@ysahli Well considering it's 1440p and 120hz don't expect to last really long. You can set it to 1080p 60hz for a big difference in battery life but its not worth it since the visual experience becomes ugly

The options screen showed 2gb ram and 16gb storage. Not the min 64gb stated?
@Expo Scotland 2 and 16 does sound too low for a new device now but the screen does show that.
