This one is really great Chris👍👍. From the 120 hz screen to the 865 chip set, and great speakers. Very good for the price👏👏. As always thank you for these reviews 🙂✌✌
Hi, got this a month ago. I got it from Germany and I live in Denmark. Amazon Prime plays at full HD resolution. By the way, it's the first tablet I actually use often. The screen is unbelievable. So good i thought it was OLED. It's also incredibly fast. It's really is wonderful to use. All the small details add up a great Product.
I would say that this tablet (together with Matepad Pro 10.8 2021) is perfect for gaming / emulation given the powerful chipset + 120 Hz screen. Kirin 9000 chipset, in theory, could emulate Wii/GameCube + 3DS games faster but Dolphin & Citra emulators are more optimized for Snapdragon chipsets.
Huawei Matepad 11 or Xiaomi Pad 5? Mainly for watching videos, saving photos and videos, using the pen to keep notes e.t.c. using the pen and multitasking/split windows.
Guys don't buy Huawei Matepad. Their battery only last 3 hours in RUclips specially if you have Harmony OS. Their laptop is less than 2 hours battery. Don't waste your money! i have Huawei Matebook D15 and Huawei Matepad 11 and they are a waste of money!
@@DrSus-hp7yx dunno how that guy can get only 3 hrs on yt tho, my matepad r with harmony os with 7k battery last days on standby and for yt i would say it will be more longer than his, dunno wat he does to his device
I agree but in reality wireless connectivity for all peripherals is the future. I tried a set of wired earbuds after using my expensive Bluetooth AirPods Pro and Beats Studio3 headphones and my liberty 2 Pro earbuds and just hate them. I remember thinking my wired earbuds would be everything I would ever need but now I am firmly entrenched in high end consumer electronics. I’m certainly not going to buy the high end pro headphones that cost more than $1000 dollars.
@@SweatyFeetGirl so which stupid podcaster convinced you of that? These devices sound fantastic, a lot of RND went into developing modern consumer grade wireless headphones they sound so much better than a lot of the wired consumer grade headphones from 30 or even 20 years ago. All three devices have a great range that’s almost as good as my home entertainment center sound system and that is made up of 2x16” subs, 2x10” mids and 2x4” tweeter horns that just sound awesome with 4000watts driving everything to put out 120db of clean sound that puts out heavy bass vibrations throughout my neighbors houses
Here a detail explication of what is HarmonyOS :) Introduction: HarmonyOS is an open source operating system usable on ALL types of Internet Of Things (IoT) devices that allows easy connection between them and create a Harmonious ecosystem through Huawei's 1 + 8 + N strategy. It is very promising thanks to his Multi kernel architecture which combines the micro kernels of LiteOS (Huawei's light OS for his connected objects) which ensures security and flexibility, as well as his 2 other kernel linux (this one is different from that of Android) and kernel subsystem which allow to have a very great stability, speed and fluidity. The core of HarmonyOS has also a Driver subsystem. HarmonyOS is able to adapt to all types of devices using the appropriate cores. This is why HarmonyOS is lighter, smoother and uses less ram (thanks to different ram management) than Android and EMUI without GMS. HarmonyOS is not a fork of android, because android only uses a linux kernel which is different from HarmonyOS and it is limited to a number of devices. Scenario: HarmonyOS should not be summed up by his interface, HarmonyOS is much more than that, HarmonyOS offers scenarios of intelligent life, at home and everywhere else. For example, a simple touch of a HarmonyOS NFC Tag allows a simplified connection between a bus and the smartphone to know the route of a trip. Same thing with a microwave which will provide us with examples of recipes according to the health data required on the HarmonyOS connected watch. Another example scenario, from the control center of the smartphone you can broadcast a film live on the HarmonyOS smartTV and at the same time use the bluetooth headphones and all this simply and without interference. Coded : In addition, applications can be coded in different languages including that of Android and that of HarmonyOS itself, which is called HarmonyOS Markup Language (HML). HarmonyOS is now compatible with Widevine L1 to offer FHD content on Netflix. In other words HarmonyOS provides multi-language programming APIs for you to develop applications. You can choose from Java, Extensible Markup Language (XML), C / C ++, JavaScript (JS), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and HarmonyOS Markup Language (HML). Huawei also said that when you develop an app on HarmonyOS for smartphones for example, you won't need to redevelop it for another device as it will adapt depending on the device. Moreover Huawei explains that the compatibility with the Apk of AppGallery is useful for smoothing the transition from Android to HarmonyOS, it is perfectly logical as a strategy since AppGallery already contains apks and if they were only the HML, the catalog of applications would be poor. We must see this compatibility as an asset. And after all, it's Huawei, their ecosystem is a marvel as well as HMS Core which keeps evolving :) Conclusion: Thanks to all this Huawei can offer HarmonyOS to all the other brands and companies that have also expressed their interest in this system. The greatest strength of HarmonyOS is that it can be used on all types of devices including computers, smartTVs, cars, smart lights, smartwatches, microwaves and all other types of objects. connected and offer a simplified life thanks to the secure interconnection of exchanges in all scenarios of daily life (at work, at school, at home, by car, etc.) Sincerely, a tech enthusiast. Harmony OS is basically a heavily customized Android. Yes it doesnt have GMS but once you installed some workaround solutions, it works just as well as any other fully supported Android device.
@@duongnhdn it's goes deeper than just UI customization. It's codebase is a modded version of android 11 with a lot of Huawei code but you're mostly right. To unlock harmony os full potential use it with a phone running EMUI 12/Harmony OS

Hello bro, between the matepad pro and the matepad 11 which one will you recomend for me to buy, and more over, can I connect external drive to the matepad 11?
I had heard, that they are going to put an SD 730 or something like that in their 300-400 Hundred Tablet... I chose the Matepad 11, because I wanted the fast ans smooth experience and like the OS. (And the offer to get the keyboard and the pencil too sounds Great) But on the other side maybe the Mi pad will be better than we think...
@@tamaoserizawa8219 I think neither one would be a bad decision.. I understand you, because we don't know when the MI pad 5 will get launched and so on....
@DS Yes I know... I meant it more like we don't kniw exactly how it is going to be and we don't know when the MatePad 11 Gifts (like the keyboard) will end.
Hi, One question, I tap m-pencil on the Block or sleep screen of the tablet and nothing happened. Any advice ? I have tried to unpair the device, turn off the device and pair it again. Tablet is not opening any app. I have to admit that I have deleted some apps and I wonder if there is some specific app for that, maybe accidentaly I remove it. Beside that pencil is working perfectly.
I want to take notes for mathematic etc. and consume just youtube videos. Would you recommend me the Matepad 11 for 300€ new or a iPad 9th gen 329€ with a 3rd party pen ?

Really wish there was a good affordable OLED tablet. I swear most people like me only use their tablets for Movies/TV not games. Was waiting for the Matepad Pro with Oled but seems it isn't launching in the UK and is very expensive anyways :(
The cheapest OLED tablet I reviewed is the XiaoXin Pro Pro (P11 Pro) from Lenovo. The 720G version is around $350 USD or less. My review is here: ruclips.net/video/jwlsYERsE2c/видео.html and the SD870 version with 90hz OLED: ruclips.net/video/Ev2hmFhI5Pg/видео.html

I really wanted this, but I would've rathered the Kirin than the Snapdragon. I just believe they're better optimized for Huawei devices. I understand they're running low and that's why the P50 will now have the god awful Snapdragon 888. Still looks like a good tablet and might sell my Tab S6 and get it

excellent review as always.. just broke my tablet screen small crack at the very bottom but works fine but had it years now so I'm looking for a new tablet just for yt,netflix and emulating games..not too keen on huawei without google play services..

Hi! Thanks for your reviews. Can you make a comparison between Matepad 11 and Lenovo Xiaoxing Pad Pro 2021 in the near future? Now I'm choosing between these two tablets, and also waiting for Mi Pad 5. In the end, I will choose one of these three tablets. Your video could help me and other potential buyers to make a choice. Please do a very detailed video comparison side by side. Comparison of displays with the launch of the same video at the same time (including those with dark night scenes), the difference in response speed also; battery life; general performance and synthetic tests; user-friendliness of the interface and general impression of use; drawing capabilities and so on. I just want to buy a tablet for at least five years to work on it and watch movies and videos sometimes, and so that it remains relevant as long as possible. Dude, this comparison would be very helpful! And, yes, we are waiting for a review of the Mi Pad 5 in the future. As well as comparisons with these two tablets. Thanks for your work, best wishes!

@DS But this is great! The tablet will not slow down. And why do we need these Google services, in fact? Instead of PlayMarket, applications can be downloaded from AppGallery and other sources. Hacked versions of premium applications can also be downloaded from other sources and for free - I download it from several Telegram channels and different sites. There is also an Apptoid application, as well as Petal Search already integrated by Huawei. It will allow you to find even those applications that are not available in PlayMarket. Instead of the RUclips application, I use the RUclips Vanced application (Pure Tuber also) - it's almost the same, but without ads and with full functionality of the premium version of the official application. And I don't need anything else from Google, since there are a number of alternatives. Also, I never bought anything there (in PlayMarket), it's not Apple, where you have to pay for everything. Ignore my comment I've found this : "Towards the end of 2020, companies started to receive approval for partial deals with Huawei. Qualcomm, Sony, and Samsung can sell particular pieces of smartphone manufacturing parts to Huawei. However, these small wins still won’t help the company go back to business as usual." *Source:* androidauthority

I would say that this tablet (together with Matepad Pro 10.8 2021) is perfect for gaming / emulation given the powerful chipset + 120 Hz screen. Kirin 9000 chipset, in theory, could emulate Wii/GameCube + 3DS games faster but Dolphin & Citra emulators are more optimized for Snapdragon chipsets.

does this thing run microsoft office kit? so i could use word or excle even tho i would need it to only fill in some rows or wanna make some notes on worddocs?
Which one do you recommend this one or tab s6 lite?
Hi guys, i need help, so would you recommend this one or the lenovo tab p11 pro with snap 730g? Why?
Hi, quite impressive how the Harmony OS 2.0 works. But, since my works require the use of google suite like gdrive, gmeet and gcalender, can we get it installed as normal android?
Here a detail explication of what is HarmonyOS :)
Introduction:
HarmonyOS is an open source operating system usable on ALL types of Internet Of Things (IoT) devices that allows easy connection between them and create a Harmonious ecosystem through Huawei's 1 + 8 + N strategy.
Scenario:
HarmonyOS should not be summed up by his interface, HarmonyOS is much more than that, HarmonyOS offers scenarios of intelligent life, at home and everywhere else.
Coded :
In addition, applications can be coded in different languages including that of Android and that of HarmonyOS itself, which is called HarmonyOS Markup Language (HML).
And after all, it's Huawei, their ecosystem is a marvel as well as HMS Core which keeps evolving :)
Conclusion:
Thanks to all this Huawei can offer HarmonyOS to all the other brands and companies that have also expressed their interest in this system.
The greatest strength of HarmonyOS is that it can be used on all types of devices including computers, smartTVs, cars, smart lights, smartwatches, microwaves and all other types of objects. connected and offer a simplified life thanks to the secure interconnection of exchanges in all scenarios of daily life (at work, at school, at home, by car, etc.)

gspace works best as easy and legit workaround from this.. huawei user since 2018. works like a charm for gdrive, gphotos, gmeet and gcalendar and also youtube. 😄👍
Mnay people don't know about HarmonyOS and its compatibility with Android, windows, running ANdroid apps etc, and also any bugs?
Should the tip be pressed when pressed?
Dex Mode is available or something similar to samsung dex?
@@Techtablets wow thanks! Not sure how I missed these reviews. Been a fan of the channel since 2016, love the content! Has been great to see you finally picking up the growth you deserve :)
@@Techtablets Isn't the P11 pro with the 730g?
@they're more of less the same
You need to retest on this tablet, huawei matepad 11 does support type c video out.
Should choose this or lenovo pad pro 2021? I think lenovo is better and cheaper
this machine is a beast!!
It is a great little tablet!
does it natively support Netflix?
i have the lower end tab, the matepad 10.4 and im unable to install google class, youtube.
can a google centric country use huawei harmony os? almost all apps in my country requires google services to function.
Yes FHd Netflix but Amazon prime video is in SD.
Pretty cool tab, nice vid!
Glad you liked it!
Hello. Can the matepad 11 playback netflix in HD?
Can I run Adobe programs on this tablet ?
Do you recommend students to buy it?
I really wanted this, but I would've rathered the Kirin than the Snapdragon. I just believe they're better optimized for Huawei devices. I understand they're running low and that's why the P50 will now have the god awful Snapdragon 888. Still looks like a good tablet and might sell my Tab S6 and get it
You can wait for the p50 pro which will have the kirin chipset.
The 865 renders videos faster than the Kirin 990. See my MatePad Pro 10.8 vs MatePad 11 video for more details
@@lltechview We prefer the Kirin, because they are "produced" by Huawei, ie Huawei puts this chip on their smartphones to hover with the fluidity they think they should have on their smartphones ... And between you and me, it feels good that your favorite company has its own apple-like chip that's good.
Great review Chris, have you tested Antutu ?
May I know how do you install the PUBG Mobile game? Through apk?
excellent review as always.. just broke my tablet screen small crack at the very bottom but works fine but had it years now so I'm looking for a new tablet just for yt,netflix and emulating games..not too keen on huawei without google play services..

Do this matepad 11 support google?

Android is freedom, Apple is digital slavery. The fact that Huawei does not have Google Services is not a minus for me. IMHO

Great review as always Chris! I myself went with the Lenovo Pad Pro 2021 after your review, waiting for it to arrive.
Which do you consider is the better one, the Matepad 11 or the Pad Pro 2021? And which has the better stylus?
Pad Pro is better overal, faster, the slimmer build and keyboard. Stylus, both very similar.
not even close, the iPad pro is miles better, but it costs double...
@Rainer Zufall ah ok
@Rainer Zufall The Lenovo XiaoXin pad pro 2021 has an sd870.
What budget tablet do you recommend right now? Always liked your reviews!
For the budget ones so far the Alldocube iPlay 40 still or the iPlay 40 Pro (My 40 Pro review is coming in a few days)
Gonna wait for the review before purchasing anything.
