Huawei has better specs and has more bang for the buck. Buuuuuuuuut... It's OS is Harmony OS. It's got no Google Play Store. It's not a true Android. So it basically boils down to what you think is important to you. Matepad has the better hardware. Samsung has a more reliable software.
While a fast SOC is ideal, at a certain price point, not every customer is after the fastest performance as long as it can deliver what they need.
