This episode has such a wholesome and heartbreaking ending. I almost cried the first time I saw it and I don’t even know why. Kowalski saying “goodbye daddy, goodbye daddy, goodbye daddy” and the fact that ren was crying too, is one of the best ren and stimpy endings. Even though it had such a ridiculous premise.
The thing about the deleted scene is it probably wasn’t a whole 10 minutes, considering a lot of the specials are way shorter than 22 minutes and usually use ads before and after to fill up the time; so with the football seen it probably would have come to a shorter time
Those "Spongebob" time-cards have always been around in some form. Looney Tunes did it with some "Time Marches On" gags. Some were seen in Beavis and Butthead! The only thing Spongebob does notably different with them is the Jacque Cousteau imitator reading them out loud.
I wonder what the faces would've looked like if they would've done like 10 seasons of this show. Also, John K has confirmed that Kowalski is 7 years old. Also a weird thing to note is the fact that this episode and Stimpys Fanclub have literally the exact same ending. Great video as always
I thought the same, they should to saw more the files. stimpy would be a good father, although he can also be questionable because he seems to be too good. possibilities of spoiling but look at ren. I found ren adorable in this episode, how he is being angry, he is someone who quickly realizes how bad he is and regrets it, and try to be a better person. 13:53 I think that in this scene he notices the scars that his others parents left to him, at least in this context, and for that reason he feels bad.
What a wonderfully dumb episode, Kowalewski was a lovable Knucklehead, the voice acting was great, the expressions were well drawn and it's pretty funny. I'll say the animation could've been smoother, and knowing how poorly John K's dad treated him as a kid does leave a bad aftertaste (it isn't the episodes fault, but still). Though all and all, it's still a really fun episode that never gets old. I'll give it a 8.5/10.
Dog Show rank: This one was also just okay. There are some funny moments, but my favorite scene is probably when George confronts Mr. Horse when he nearly rejects Stimpy. Rank: 7.5/10 Son of Stimpy rank: This one I actually liked, my favorite scene was the "I don't care" scene in the first half. It's nice to see the Ren tries to cheer Stimpy up, and that he's not a total jerk. He tried so hard to comfort Stimpy in deep sadness, and it is heartwarming. Not a fan of the mistletoe scene, though. It also has a great ending. Rank: 8.5/10 Monkey See, Monkey Don't rank: I liked the first half of this episode, but the second half was pretty uninteresting. Ren eating the vermin was not that gross for me, but it wasn't enjoyable looking at the remains on his tongue. Rank: 7.5/10 Fake Dad rank: This episode was very entertaining. It had some gross-out that I didn't really enjoy, but the freakout near the end made up for it. It is by far my favorite scene of the episode, the voice acting is excellent. Rank: 9/10
The rule of never using the same face twice was only for Adult Party Cartoon, not the original series. Also, fun fact, Jim Smith's real name is James Carl Jobb.
@@JoinednHarmony You take a look at Stimpy's face in Stimpy's Big Day when he squishes Gritty Kitty Litter between his toes and look at the face he makes in Marooned when he says "Joy!" Maybe not exactly the same, but mighty similar!
@@yosefdemby8792 They do have similar faces sometimes but so did Adult Party Cartoon. It's impossible to have completely different faces each episode, but that doesn't mean the rule didn't apply to the original series. Just look at all the expressions they made in the original show. Why would they do that if they didn't have the no same face twice rule. I even think John K literally says he told his crew to never draw the same expression twice in an interview for the original show. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's true

My favorite friend?!? Wow! I was expecting Ren to say, my favorite idiot
I remember seeing this episode in school & everyone & myself was laughing so hard that the teacher told use 2 keep it down a notch.
You watched Ren and Stimpy in school?!?
@@blazenathan8375 Just 1 time.
15:03 that cry is from Man’s Best Friend
I like this episode it's hilarious and Kowalski is one of my favorite characters he's so funny.
Kowalski's design would later B use 4 other large characters down the road like the Lumox & Galoot.

You don’t get the joke though it’s for a different reason.

None of the double length episodes actually lasted 22 minutes. They would just put a bunch of commercial parodies before and after the episode.

You know what would have been funnier? After 36 weeks, instead of strongly bumping, they should've had Kowalski barely burp.
Ren and stimpy recap. The voice acting is great in this episode.
2:45 if you look carefully you can see Ren's tail
Was hoping for the full episode

Nope, I'm pretty sure the no faces twice rule applied to the original show as well.
