thank you for the clear demonstration of how to use the IC-9700 squelch mode recording, just going to monitor the repeater with my vertical whitestick to see what (if anything) i capture over a few weeks. 2m is dead pretty much in my region otherwise !
You have your RX Rec condition to Squelch Auto ? If so that would be an important thing to state. If you have RX Rec Condition to Always, I don't think you get what you want.
Play the audio from the .wav files back into a VB Audio Cable set as the input to MMSSTV or similar program. MMSSTV is my goto, but there is another (linux only?) one I'm blanking on atm. Alternatively, you can play them out loud to your phone into the robot36 app on android. I forget the iOS alternative.

OK i have setup my 9700 to record the images from the ISS. So now I have a bunch of wav files. How to convert them to images? Help

vb-audio.com/Cable/ virtual patch cable. It lets you pipe audio from an output of your PC to another input to a program.
