Your message has caused a lot of division which is not of God, & if there's more to this message then don't post just half. I pray a sinner who does not know the word of God does not come on here and hear this and feel it's hopeless that they can't repent because God hates them and commit suicide. Jesus never once taught or preached My Father Hates you. How is this telling them God hates them winning souls to the Kingdom of God? Jesus did not come to save the church, for the church already has a physician, but there's people out here in this world that are dying without Christ Jesus as their Lord Saviour and he is there physician.
People are dealing with fear, depression, panic attacks, etc....& this message would push anyone who doesn't know God's precious word over the cliff! If you're going to post something like this at least let him know there is a way out and that way out is through Jesus Christ and by Repentance. This is just crazy. I pray for you.

      Good evening Sister ,
CAN I ASK YOU A FEW QUESTIONS PLEASE :
      1. When God destroyed all of mankind and spared only Noah and his family, was Jesus Christ in agreement?
      2. When God destroyed sodom & Gomorrah was Jesus Christ present and was he in agreement?
      3. When God said he hated Esau, Was Jesus Christ present and was he in agreement with the rest of the God head?
NOW please answer the remaining questions linked to the passages below.

      Revelation 6:15-17 (KJV)
      4. Who are these men hiding from?
      15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
      5. Who is the Lamb referred to in this verse & why did the people prefer the mountains & rocks to fall on them?
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from THE WRATH OF THE LAMB :
      6. WHO’S WRATH IS SPOKEN ABOUT HERE?
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

The problem with the statement-“God loves the sinner, but hates the sin”-is that it is misleading. It is not a false statement. And what is misleading about it is the word but, but hates the sin, because but should be and. God loves the sinner and hates the sin. But implies he doesn’t hate the sinner-that is not true. God does hate sinners. Psalm 5:4: “You are not a God who delights in wickedness. Evil may not dwell with you. The boastful shall not stand before your eyes. You hate all evildoers.” Or Psalm 11:5: “The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.” So it is just not true to give the impression that God doesn’t hate sinners by saying he loves the sinner and hates the sin. He does hate sinners. His wrath is real. It is not something he pours out on people he approves of

As we read through the Psalms one of the things we have to deal with is the frequent mention of God’s hatred for wicked people.
The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers. You destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. (Psalms 5:5-6 ESV)

Jesus said to the adultress woman , go and sin no more, he didn't say go, to hell you sinner, God is love, merciful, and he doesn't want anyone to perish. God does hate sin, but if he hated the sinner, Jesus wouldn't have died for our sins. God is holy and also God is a consuming fire, but he is angry at the sin of this world and it's evil. God can't hate the sinner because that would mean everything he did for us on the cross was in vain. Those who reject Christ and willfully do are in danger of the wrath of God. But those who are born again and are really true children of God will find mercy. Please don't say that God hates sinners you are leading people who want to genuinely know God not want to seek him, because you say God hates them. God is love and we should show love to those who don't believe in God so they can see that we truly are disciples and brothers and sisters of our Father. God is love.

I think we should just clear the air. God loves sinners but He hates sinners. What I'm saying is He loves sinners who come to Him and acknowledge their sin and grieve and repent, He stands with open arms and tells them to come to Him. But the self-righteous, judgmental, unrepentant, spiritual proud, religious sinner He hates. It's clear from the Bible and I think any true child of God can understand that. How would you feel if a proud person who says he knows you and loves you spits in your sons face, then tortures him and kills him in a brutal way right in front of you and then try to cover it up and carry on being friendly with you as if nothing happened? I'd be pretty upset and I'm a sinful man. Imagine how God must feel towards all who reject His son. Brother you've God nowhere to hide from an angry God.

For why should you die, O house of Israel?’ (Eze 33:11)--this verse is basically a repeat of the one you quoted (and mind you, continuing from that passage, go on to read verses 18:24-25... you can see the passage is addressed to Israel as well in v. 25)
You know, I never read "turn, why should you die, O multitudes in ancient China and India" anywhere in the Bible. The fact that these messages were written to Israel, and Israel only easily proves that God is certainly not inclined nor required to give the other nations any similar warning (until the Gospel age) if it so pleases Him.

And because He died now we are to die to sin also. And if we continue to keep on sinning and knowing Jesus had done the work on the cross. Then God is not with you. Don't think that Jesus died and think that we can continue to sin because he died for our sins. You deceive yourself.

We seem to forget that God knows past, present, and future, God knows who is chosen and who is not. God hates the wicked and loves the righteous, though He hates the self righteous, those who are like the pharisees.
Alot of people seem to overlook the story of Jacob and Esau. Before the two were born God stated, "Jacob I love Esau I hate."
God before time has made an inheritance for His elect. When you make an inheritance, no one can be added to or taken away from that inheritance. Predestination is proven multiple times throughout scripture. It is not our will to love God but it is God's will.
You see, in John 1 12-14 it states that it's not the will of man, but the will of God we are His.
It's by the grace and the love of God people are chosen not our own. A man can say "I love Jesus I love God." It doesn't mean God or Jesus loves them back.
In 1st John it states the signs if you're saved or not, ask yourself "Do I have the fruits of the Spirit?" Ask "Do I truly love God or do I just say I do?" Ask "Would I truly give my life for God like Jesus did for us?" Ask "Am I truly being sanctified away from my old nature?" Ask "Am I battling through spiritual warfare?"
Why did I say ask yourself if you're struggling through spiritual warfare? The enemy doesn't tempt those who are unsaved, he doesn't need to, why hunt something that's already dead? The enemy enjoys tempting Christians. The only time I think the enemy attacks those who are unelected would be possession. By the way, christians cannot be possessed because christians are filled with the Holy Spirit.
How to tell you're being sanctified is, you are losing your old desires over time. When you have the Holy Spirit within you, your old self is dead, your old self has been crucified with your old desires. Now you're made new, more Christ Like Roman's 6 dead to sin alive in God.
Do you have the fruits: Peace, Joy, Love, Patience, Self Control, etc?
Would you truly give up everything for God even your life?

As we read through the Psalms one of the things we have to deal with is the frequent mention of God’s hatred for wicked people.
The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers. You destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. (Psalms 5:5-6 ESV)
How do we make sense of such a statement? We can’t simply say, “God hates the sin but loves the sinner” because that plainly isn’t what the text says.

In that sense, how do you cope for instance with Eph. 2,1-5?
"1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience- 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved"
Or Romans 5,8: "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Similarily Luke 15,11-32, verse 24: "For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found."
Furthermore, as Christians, we still sin. Simul iustus et peccator. How does that fit into the idea of God hating the sinner? In my understanding this would lead to righousness by works. You would be responsible to stop sinning, so God could love you again. Obviously this contradicts the whole gospel, so what am I missing? - It's right, God has every right to hate the sinner and we as sinners deserve to be hated by him. But isn't exactly that the gospel, that Jesus died for our sins, because God actually does love us?

God says he has no pleasure in the death of anyone, so to say God hates the sinner also would only drive people away from God. People need to understand that God is God and should be feared , for he has the power to destroy both body and soul in hell, be he is very willing to help and save anyone who comes to him, we need to remember the devil is the bad guy, God is the good guy in all of this, but he has rules and has made a way for people to come to him, it is the individuals hatred of God that leads them to destruction , not Gods hatred of anyone.

Look at the Ministry of Jesus towards sinners, do you suppose that was born out of a motivation of hatred? No! Hatred is in the Bible, but they pick the fewer verses it is. I won't share the truth when some people in this group do not understand the price paid on Calvary because Jesus loves us so much. If you do want to know what Jesus said about Sodom, message me. May Gods Grace through His Son grow in you always. Truly Mercy triumphs over condemnation and judgment. This is what the world cries out for when all else fails. Gods Grace and Mercy.

The text says that God hates the sinner.
      “you hate all evildoers.” (v.5)

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8
God is a God of wrath. But, He is also a God of love. To understand how He can be both, look at the Cross. There He poured out His wrath, His hate for sinners, onto Christ. Christ absorbed the punishment we, as sinners, deserve, because He loves us. This should make sense to the redeemed because they realize that their sin is offensive to God (Psalm 51). For the non believer, this should stand out as the only truly kind act anyone has ever done and should drive them to repent and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Redeemer.

His word says He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but He does get pleasure through His Son receiving a bride from His Father and to be known and worshiped by those who were once against Him but God has made their hearts new to love God and His ways.
Basically, yes God hates sin and sinners as they are one and the same, yet God would rather send His Son to take the punishment everyone deserves for the sin they committed, and they have nothing to offer that can even come close to paying that debt to satisfy the wrath of God. Only Jesus could pay the debt, God can't just ignore it because He is just, and a just judge doesn't let a criminal go free after committing their crimes and found guilty. Once has paid the debt for our sins, then we can be made right with God if by grace through faith in Christ we would be saved, which comes from hearing, understanding and believing the Gospel correctly. Then we would be made new creatures that God doesn't hate and rather loves for He would make us like new creatures, with new desires, new affections, making them more like Christ, those people will drastically be different from who they were when they were just a lost sinner.
God hates us in the beginning, but that's not the way He wants it to be, He would rather save us and love us. He hates us because in sin, we're worthy of being hated, but when Christ has paid the debt for our sin, and God has made us like Christ and washed our sins away and remembers them no more, then we are made worthy to love because of Christ and what He has done for us, to us and through us for His Father's will.

Our human definition of hate should not be what is spoken of here. Maybe more clarity is needed on this one. I agree, but in the sense that because of the righteousness and holiness of God mankind will never measure up. His holy vengeance must be exacted upon us because of who He is. Our redemption from this vengeance (which is also holy and not comparable to human vengeance) is by grace through faith in the washing redemption of Christ’s blood. This is the only way we will be presented faultless before the throne. Without it, we’re guilty and worthy of damnation. Gotta love the truth of God’s Word. It will 100% set you free.

Everyone I have talked to really has had someone done that in their past. I do explain the differences between the devil and Jesus in John 10:10 very clearly. I like what Paul spoke of in scripture. Should I come to you with a whip or a kind and gentle spirit. Remember, we are to be wise as serpants but harmless as doves. For years I did not know how much Jesus loves me. I should have been dead a long time ago. But I am alive today to share the love of Christ and the message of Christ, knowing I am accountable to God for everything. Truly ... If God hates sinners, then St John’s words apply: “20If anyone says, “I love God,” but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21And we have this commandment from Him: Whoever loves God must love his brother as well.” (1 John 4.20-21)
So if God claims to love anyone, but hates sinners, “He is a liar”. God cannot be allowed a lower moral standard than He requires of of His disciples. Since He requires Christians to love their enemies, He has no right to be allowed not to love His enemies. If men are to do what God refuses to do or cannit do, men are acting more righteously and mercifully than God, and put the God they worship to shame. For such a god is inferior to them. To say that God behaves in a way which Is the moral opposite of what He requires of His disciples, is to say that God has a split personality, or is a hypocrite.
If God does not love sinners - how are His disciples supposed to love those who sin against them ? How can we obey God’s command, if God does not set us an example by doing what He tells us to do ? But in Christ, that is exactly what God does: He “shows us how it’s done”.
To say that God hates sinners, is not true. The Death of Christ, for sinners, while they were still sinners, proves it to be not true. Old Testament passages cannot be allowed to trump the Teaching of Christ, for the Teaching of Christ is the plumbline by which all other teaching in the Bible is to be measured.
The God revealed in Jesus Christ is very different from the God Who is said to hate His enemies. God’s fullest revelation is *not* a book or body of books, but Jesus of Nazareth, the man Who is God Himself. “The letter kills - it is the Spirit Who gives life”.
To say that people are “hate-worthy”, misses the point of God’s grace and love. The point is, that God loves sinners *because they are unworthy of God’s love* . All of us can come to God only as the sinners all of us are. That God loves us sinners, is not in any way caused by any pre-existing loveableness in us. It is the grace of God, and nothing else, that confers value on us, by loving us. Grace is never, and can never be, a reward for being good. It is a medicine for the sick & the terminally ill, to give them the health they do not have, greatly need, and can find only in God. A God Who hated sinners. would not give this Health, which is Christ, to them.
God’s grace *does not find sinners* love-worthy, but *makes them* love-worthy, by loving them when they were unlovable & loveless. Any light and love in them, comes from the Divine Word Who “enlightens every man that comes into the world”.
Only sinners can be forgiven - the righteous have no need of forgiveness; they have no need of a physician. So in the Gospel, Christ does not associate with the righteous Pharisees & Scribes; He prefers the company of sinners, and seeks them out. He is made sin for us. Far more fully than St Paul, He is the Chief of sinners. On the Cross, in accordance with the Torah (Deuteronomy 21.21-23), Christ becomes accursed, a curse for us; He shares fully in the alienation of sinners from God. That God in Christ fully identifies Himself with sinners, and on the Cross shares in their alienation from God, and is raised from the death that is the fruit of that alienation, is central to faith in Christ.

    • @JamesMC04
      @JamesMC04 5 лет назад

In that case, God is so unlike us, that God’s “notion” of good may be what we call evil, and contrariwise. What we call murder may be pleasing to God, and what we reject as deceit may be what God calls truth. But if that so, how can we tell God from the devil ? If God is not far better than man in every way, God is not worthy of worship.
This God of hate is not the God of the NT.

There is no verse in the Bible with the words ‘God hates sinners’. If God hates all sinners then surely He hates all mankind for all are sinners and are sinning; believers in Jesus and non-believers. See Rom 3:7&10&21; 1 John 1:8&10; 1 Kings 8:46; Ecc 7:20; 1 Cor 8:12; 1 Tim 5:20; 1 John 2:1; Gal 2:15&17; Jas 4:8; Amos 9:10; Num 32:14.
For those people who God hates, see Ps 5:5; Ps 11:5; Prov 6:16-18. These verses do not make a distiction between believers and non-believers. Note Ps 5 - ALL workers. Does that also mean that God hates all people?
We must not confuse wrath with hate. God’s wrath are on all those who do not believe in Jesus - John 3:36 - the children of disobedience - Ef 2:5; Rom 1:18.
The Bible do have verses that shows that God loves all sinners: John 3:16; Rom 5:9; Ef 2:4&5.

Listen, there is truth in here, but lies also.
His analogy of the flood, using it to. Prove God hates sinners, is Operating from another manor of spirit... Notice, after the flood God was grieved. Why would he be grieved? because he loves mankind, but they were wicked. God didn't make a mistake we know this. GOD can exercise judgment and still be grieved because he is love. A human judge will do the same, he make take pity on the accused but Justice calls for punishment. The. Judge can be loving and still send people to electric chair. Don't define God by his punishments tim.
So Tim is taking this out of context, this analogy shouldn't be used to prove hatred, but rather how God can be loving and still punish. God was angry because he is JUST, not because he is hate. His initial dealing with these people was to love them, to cherish them, God's nature is to love and give. But they became wicked and Gods anger grew. And yes God can be provoked to Hate. But judgment and hatred are results of sin, but his nature is Love

Hello, I’ve been going through a hard seasons where I fell into deep sins as well as a lot of spiritual attacks from the enemy. At times it was hard to tell if it was Gods anger on me or the devil hurting me. It has been going on for some time. When I first got a better understanding of God, I heard different ways of describing Him but I always kept that any revelation of God Jesus Christ is in the word. I have read the word and wanted to really seek and understand who He is and who Jesus is and what He did. I went through seasons of also questioning feeling if I was truly saved. I knew it is by faith but I was still so confused and fell into work’s ignorantly. To this day, I am still a bit confused as to if I truly received Christ or if I’m deceived. I feel hopeless like I was denied salvation when I asked Jesus in prayer to help me understand His word. It’s hard to have faith when I’m not sure who I’m believing because I feel as a result of being ignorant and even not commune with believers in a church for a while to grow spiritually, I was a target for the enemy to come with deceptions and lies that really harmed me. I became so discouraged I just stopped praying, reading the Bible and I just gave up to a degree in seeking Jesus. I feel this may be that I simply don’t understand the Gospel and that I was deceived to think I believed. I still don’t understand the true God. Is He mad at me? Does He hate me? Does He not want to save me. I even went as far as to curse at Him saying it was His fault because I was just so mad and I know that was wrong to have done all that. I feel so tired and I still haven’t been able to experience any freedom and what is so good about the good news. Perhaps I went through so much sorrow from feeling deeply hated by even Jesus Christ that that I depressed my spirit heavily...

Definitely a good sign if you care about your relationship with God. Being around others that love God and His Word is important. Get everything that is bad out of your house(bad movies, music, etc). Sit down and read the Bible each morning starting with the book of John. God has saved sinners far worse than you. He loves to save to lost. We all are. Repent and move forward with God's promise :)

We don’t know the depths of God’s love. He is love! John 3:16 For God so loved the world. All that God has provided is borne out of love. He makes the rain and sun to fall and shine on all, not only believers. The question is, do we acknowledge, thank, worship and ultimately love Him?! John 14:15 clearly says, if we love Him we’ll keep His commandments and He’ll love us back. So, there’s a general love for everyone, but a specific love for true believers.

He sustains all things in existence and could not sustain in existence what he hates. He cannot hate what he created or he would not have created it. He did not create sin he created humans. He loves sinners as we are taught to do. If he didn't love sinners but we were told to that would make God a hypocrige which he is not. We are to be examples of God's forgiveness and love. The idea that God only died for the elect is a Calvinist invention and hideous to true church teaching.
God doesn't send anyone to hell my friend. People choose to go there of their own free choosing against his will. It is impossible for God to hate his own creation for nothing is evil in and of its own nature but obviously sin is evil but sin is merely a privation of some good a thing ought to have. God is opposed to sin because sin is a contamination or privation if you will of what we are supposed to have it is not a created thing unlike us. The sinner is wicked and it’s heart devises wicked plans . The messiah came for the Sinners and sick right . So those who abide in Christ and His word in Him become righteous in their life . We are ought to live righteously. So if we know Christ are we still sick and a sinner ? No we are healed and made a new creation in Him. Scripture is clear that those who sin will not inherit Eternal Life and sinners do wicked things that are an abomination to Him so how could he could He love people who do abominable things against Him .
Does God hate anyone? The answer is yes.
Psalm 5:5, "The boastful shall not stand before Thine eyes; Thou dost hate all who do iniquity."
Psalm 11:5, "The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked, and the one who loves violence His soul hates."
Lev. 20:23, "Moreover, you shall not follow the customs of the nation which I shall drive out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I have abhorred them."
Prov. 6:16-19, "There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, 19 A false witness who utters lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers."
Hosea 9:15, "All their evil is at Gilgal; indeed, I came to hate them there! Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of My house! I will love them no more; All their princes are rebels."
The sobering fact is that God is so holy and righteous that He hates the sinner (Psalm 5:5; Lev. 20:23; Prov. 6:16-19; Hos. 9:15). Some say that we should say that God only hates the sin but loves the sinner. But, the above scriptures speak contrary to that. But it is also true that He is love (1 John 4:8). It is better to accept the love of God found in Jesus than to reject it and suffer His wrath.
    This is Sound Doctrine!

The text says that God hates the sinner.
    “you hate all evildoers.” (v.5)

    • @TrumpProphecies
      @TrumpProphecies 5 лет назад

The scriptures say that God hates a false witness, so clearly God hates that sinner, so it cannot be blasphemy to say that God hates sinners unless scripture itself is blasphemy. Jesus said scripture cannot be broken, so God does hate at least some sinners. Instead, we should ask: Is it possible for God to justifiably hate someone and yet simultaneously love them? Evidently yes! God hates AND loves sinners. How deep is the love of God that can press through His own hatred: For while we were yet sinners, hated in God's holy eyes, Christ died for us to cover over the sin that made us hated in the eyes of God. The height and width and depth and breadth of the love of God cannot be fully grasped until we recognize the hatred of God. "Love must be sincere: Hate what is evil. Cling to what is good." Hatred is a necessary component of sincere love: God exhibits this tension perfectly. The rest of us have much to learn.

@@CRAFTE.D Because true love is not the absence of hate, but the right use of it. Someone who loves children would, in all honesty, hate evil people who molest or kill children. God defines love; we don't. The same Bible that says "God is love" (1 John 4:8) also says that God hates people who love violence (Psalm 11.5), that God hates people who sacrifice children to Moloch (Lev 20:23), and that God hates people who destroy the innocent by bearing false witness against them (Prov 6:19). It's really not that difficult if you realize that God can hate violent abusers and yet simultaneously love the world enough to provide for sinners to be atoned (John 3:16). It's the same way that you might have a theoretical love for child abusers (a love that desires them to be transformed) while also having an effectual hatred of them (a "hatred" that desires justice to render them incapable of harming children again). For a truly loving person, justified hatred is not incompatible with genuine love.

This nightmare god is not the god described here:
“6For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die. 8 *But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us* . 9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him. 10For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life. 11Not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.”

If you find yourself sinning for whatever reason or possible mistake, it is totally fine to ask Jesus for forgiveness. If I sin, I pray and ask for forgiveness. I don't know why other fellow Christians make a big deal out of it, humans make mistakes and God knows that. But don't sin, I try to keep that in mind. Okay, we need to get some balance here. Yes, the Bible talks about the hatred of God and the wrath of God and, yes, we need to fear Him. But we need to balance this out with the truth of God's undeserved love. Consider the following:
Romans 5:8 "God shows His LOVE for us in that, WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, Christ died for us"
Ephesians 2:4-5 (after Paul has declared all mankind obejects of wrath): "But God, being rich in mercy, BECAUSE OF THE GREAT LOVE WITH WHICH HE LOVED US, EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN TRESPASSES, made us alive together with Christ"
1 John 4:10 "In this is love, NOT THAT WE HAVE LOVED GOD BUT THAT HE LOVED US and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins"
If God does not love the sinner then these verses are a lie and we are without hope. This does not minimise the hatred of God against sin, not reality of judgement or hellfire but sometimes, in my view, reformed preachers (of whom I am one) can neglect the balance that the Bible itself gives.

A person dear to me who watched this, now believes he is eternally doomed to hell with no way out.
Earnestly seeking God, he heard this and is now left without hope.

All praises be to God Almighty, please know that this is not the gospel message, instead it dangerously omits the powerful truth of Jesus' last exhortation to His disciples - teach ALL things.
Please know that there is HOPE, REDEMPTION, FORGIVENESS, and ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ!

Please note in the Old Testament:
      Ezekiel 18 (NKJV)
21 “But if a WICKED man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
22 NONE of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live.
23 Do I have ANY pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God,
“and not that he should turn from his ways and live?
Our Creator God is NOT an angry monster seeking to destroy.
In fact, after the flood, He made covenant with HIMSELF through the rainbow as a reminder to Himself that He would never send a global flood again to destroy humanity.
      The rainbow is not a sign for humans;
it is a sign for Himself as a reminder of His own covenant of LIFE and PEACE with us available through Jesus Christ.
PLEASE read Romans 8 - there is NO condemnation in Christ Jesus, and NOTHING can ever separate you from God's love through Jesus Christ.
He desires for everyone to repent, turn their hearts to Him and receive forgiveness and eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ.
Our Creator God is perfect LOVE - demonstrated by Him making the ultimate sacrifice in order for humanity to receive eternal life as a free, unearned GIFT through the death and resurrection of His Son.
God's desire is for ALL to join His family into all of eternity, adopted children of God.
And Jesus Christ is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE exactly because He is the only key to the Father having paid in our stead the penalty of death (wrath of God satisfied) that we all deserve for our sins.
      Matthew 28 (NKJV)
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
      What did Jesus Christ teach?
      Romans 3 (NKJV)
23 for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
      Romans 6 (NKJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
29 Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,
30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
      John 3 (NKJV)
16 For God so LOVED the WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son,
that WHOEVER believes in Him should NOT perish but have everlasting life.
      1 Thessalonians 5 (NKJV)
9 For God did NOT appoint us to wrath,
but to obtain SALVATION through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
      Romans 5:8-9 (NKJV)
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were STILL sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be SAVED from WRATH through Him.
Mercy triumphs over judgment. (James 2:13, NKJV)

You're missing a key component: hate in the original Greek means to LOVE LESS. We are to HATE ourselves and our families according to Jesus... Hate isn't what the world says it is Barry's behind most hate, there is so much passion behind it, it had to stem from somewhere (usually love). I have felt so much pain from my mother, I have even hated her..... But i love her though.... We gotta "rightly divide the word of truth" (1 or 2 Timothy)

Psalm 11:5 The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
Hosea 9:15 Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels.
Everyone who thinks that God loves everyone unconditionally and doesn't hate doesn't understand love or hate. Love is not a warm fuzzy feeling, it's actionable. It's patient, kind, longsuffering...
1 Corinthians 14: 4-8 It doesn't say love is a feeling, love is happiness. Love may cause those things, but those things are not love. So God can still show his love for us by sending Jesus down to suffer His wrath in our stead, without being wrong in hating wicked evil abominable people.

Consider the rich man who came to God, who had not made Jesus is Lord but was given over to money. In Mark 10:21 we read: "Jesus looked at him and LOVED HIM" Did this man ever make a commitment? We are not told. We are just told that Jesus loved him even in his idolatry.
Let us be clear - God's wrath, judgement and hell are all real. But any sermon needs to be balanced and the whole of Scripture must be taken into account. This clip does not do that.
