Welcome to the series of tutorials on AutoCAD Electrical. In this video, we will learn to create a new project, add project description and create a new drawing. Creating a new project and a new drawing are the basic fundamental of Electrical AutoCAD. It helps manages the drawings a s well as the relationships between your parent/child symbols as well as the panel components.

Sir, Can you explain the same for autocad 2022? I mean the project icon is not shown in the menu tab
please look at the quick access toolbar you can find the project browser...hope this solves your problem

the thing is i dont know how to open project manager. when I open autocad, its just write autocad not "autocad electrical" help me.
you should get the electrical version of the autocad... you can access it from the autodesk site...

How to get electronics Component like diode etc in Electrical autocad 2022
you can click on icon menu under schematic from the ribbon... find miscellaneous inside which you will find electronics menu.... you can add the items listed there...if not found you can build your own symbols that are globally recognized
Sir in my case after creating new drawing dialogue box when I click ok or ok-properties it says invalid path.
Plz help
An Invalid Path warning means that the path does not exist or that the user does not have permissions to write data in that location.
Check the path once or try changing the location where you want to save the drawing.

Actually I was selecting a folder located in my desktop.
And thus it shows invalid path.
How can I save in my desktop?
