Love the video! But I wonder, is there any possibility of getting an updated version of the character tutorial? Not all tutorials are the same and yours was the only one I'd ever come close to finishing before everything changed lol
In order to speed up adding textures I use the shift cntrl t option to a principled node then swap then noodles into the mask texture nodes...it would be great if the shift cntrl t option could eventually be integrated to the mask nodes..but all said still one of my key add ons.. brilliant studf
Havent bruought the addon yet but from what I have seen so far its pretty amazing. I will almost certainly buy it. I would love to see how to create smaller scale environments that dont necesarry have these mountain like spikes and are more smooth. Something like a Forrest scene or maybe even jungle.
Is anybody else having issue baking out textures from mask tools? I keep getting to 1% then boom it just stops and renders a black image (i have i7 32 Ram and 1080ti Gpu - same on CPU and GPU when i try to bake - any help greatly appreciated - ps it can bake out - but when i add image textures instead of diffuse colors in the mask base - it does not work
In: Properties Panel | Material Properties | Settings | Surface something - when hooked up - resets this to Bump Only. Most likely when plugging Ground Map into the Wet Map Painter | Mask input, Resetting to Displacement Only or Displacement and Bump seems to work. See time stamp 12:35.

There seems to be a serious lack of blender to unreal tutorials. I haven't found many good ones anyways.

Hello Michael , I purchased the Mask Tools addon several months ago (1.7) how do I upgrade to 1.8? do I have to purchase it again?

Bake huge landscape to 1 4k texture? Realy? Tile textures? No? And chanche texture by vertex color

EDGE and AO Mask is little wrong. (edge mask in AO zone is useless) pls give me your mail i give you my clean variant for you brilliant addon)
