      Сравнивать виртуозов из пеплов и Лемми , считаю, не от большого ума. Хотя по моему мнению, Моторхед в своем жанре и в своем стиле, вполне профессиональны. И это не только мое мнение, но и большинства слушающих группу

    I saw Hawkwind back in 1974. Even back then, Lemmy played bass guitar with a way no other bassist could play at that time.... A wonderful guy who is still sadly missed....

    • @DenisNSmith
      @DenisNSmith 2 года назад

      It's because he had to teach himself, at very short notice, so he largely played bass in the way you'd play rhythm guitar - which he'd also taught himself to play... Space Ritual is probably the height of his presence in Hawkwind (and one of the tightest live albums you will ever find) - tracks like Space Is Deep and Time We Left are absolutely driven by his thundering, unique approach to bass guitar. And the solo in Orgone Accumulator was what inspired me to pick up a bass myself for the first time, 40 years ago.

    I lost track of how many times I saw Motorhead and not being much of a metal fan I had to endure some awful support groups and other bands at festivals. Motorhead like Sabbath were a rare band as they had a very wide fan base. I would be there in my Ramones shirt rocking out next to someone in a Meshuggah shirt. I even got asked at one gig who were Stiff Little Fingers. I despair sometimes.
