A very informative presentation and great info. Thanks for taking the time and sharing the info and posting. Well done. I'm on a 6 week fishing road trip along NSW coast (5,000 k round trip) in April - June 2021. I will keep your lessons close in my mind.😁😁
Best of luck on that trip. Lots of Jew to be found along that coastline 😉
Love the vids mate keep it up.
good on you guys .thanks mate i learn a lot from you and yours video well done
Awesome vid mate just subscribed 🤙🤙thanks for the info planning on getting some silver ghosts this season apparently it's not crazy to drop livies straight back down at the bait grounds for jew too👍👍cheers mate
Awesome stuff great upload so much knowledge great it’s being shared. Absolute fire 🔥
Really appreciated mate 🤙
I do a few Drone patrols along Nth Entrance beach NSW and see big Jewies and Kingfish a fair bit. I do believe sunrise sunset and 1hr either side of a high tide I think is best. Live Bait , and fingers Crossed I can get my young bloke hooked up on his 1st proper fishing expedition. Thanks for sharing rigs and the details especially sinker weight.
G'Day mate. Really good to see your tips and your rig setups. I just got a 4kg jew off the rocks at Sth Kingscliff last week , my 3rd one ever and the biggest. Using frogmouth pillies and a triple gang ( going for tailor ). Keep up the content .
Cheers mate and congrats. You'll love the next episode dropping on Sunday night. The best one yet!
Good video mate, im going to try tomorow
Great video mate, I'm sure it will help a lot of people 🙌 I took a few tips away from it. Love your work Andy 🎣

Awesome video guys. Bring on more mulloway tips and rigs. 👍
I'll try mate but I think I gave all my tips away in this one lol 🤙

Just watching your videos now. Cheers.
Great vid thanks for all the tips.
Cheers Ben 👌
Great footage and tips mate, cheers!
Cheers Matty 🤙
Thanks for the video, really appreciate the info throughout it. Although I have a few question regarding landbased fishing, firstly when you said you were sounding were you actually looking for fish on the sounder or just the dropoffs. Also I have read in articles how the big fish tend to sit in eddys particularly around the mullet run. From a landbased point of view if you have any advice on how to locate those eddys I would greatly appreciate it. Look forward to hearing back.
We focus on the drift primarily and watch the sounder just to see if there is any fish around. More of a confidence builder on that point.
You'll actually see the eddys. That change on the surface. Indicates either a drop off below, structure and possibly water currents clashing.
Personally I would drift the lot and into the eddy.
Another handy tip is some of the bigger jew come out and play at dusk till dawn. Give that a shot if it's safe to do so. 🤙
@@CoastfishTV thanks for the advice, I've had the occasional chances on some solid fish just something always seems to go wrong
Great stuff tks
very very helpful advice from a great fisherman the tips work and me and my mate smashed it 2 fish each 3 of them were legal and very tastey
Now that looked like a whole lot of fun💪💪💪💯💯 awesome work boyz🤙🤙
It was crazy mate!
Leaving a comment for the algorithm and also because it’s an awesome Channel 🔥😎
Cheers mate. Really appreciated 🤙
love that you guys are out in a tinny... makes it more accessible for us poor old fishos. What size boat is it, and do you goes go outside in that one? cheers, love this channel.
Cheers mate. That was a Quintrex 420 with a 30hp on the back. No I didn't take it offshore very often.
Loved the video just came across the video. Did you have the sinker running up to the hook on the single hook rig? Cheers
Sinker runs on the trace line to the hook
Got my first 82cm jewie tonight boys! Followed it to a tee and bang! Cheers Andy!!!
Congrats mate. Well done!
Mate, love your vids! Keep 'em comin' please
I will try mate cheers. Just on the borderline of what to do with this channel. Always helps when people like you are around 🤙
@@CoastfishTV through this channel you have taught me a bucketload about the "how" and the relevant "why". I love that it's not just a brag channel that shows footage of catching with no real explanation. Your detailed info is invaluable to fishos like me with very little skill or network to learn from. Thanks, I hope you are able to continue the channel.
love the vids mate. Just subbed too!
Just commenting for the engagement algorithm 😂. Loved the vid mate much appreciated, hopefully can convert it to a Jew!
I'm confident you will now. Really confident. Comment when you do mate 🤙
Great content as always 👍🏻
Cheers mate 🤙
Thankyou for sharing those secrets!
Good stuff man , just as you mentioned about the algorithms I haven’t been seeing your videos on my feed just realised. RUclips does weird shit tbh I remember once heaps of youtubers made videos on RUclips actually u following subscribers from RUclips channels on their own without RUclipsrs knowing .
Yeah RUclips can give you a hammering no matter how hard you try. I guess I'll have to keep going 😉
Hey mate thanks for the Info, don’t forget a jewie can’t swim past a live tailor either 😉
Cheers 🤙🏽
awesome help.
Keep pumping vids out man
I will try lol. Hard yakka
Thanks buddy I am learning how to find jewfish and I hope your Chanel get better soon.
just popped up in my feed today. Good video thanks
Cheers mate 👍
Hi Andy love your videos coming over from Ireland to do some fishing were are you base
Gold Coast, Queensland.
Nice work mate.
We call them a mulloway over here in WA. Good fun to catch that’s for sure
Good old Mulloway. I'm an SA boy so that title still resonates with me 🤙
@@CoastfishTV ahh mate. It’s crazy how the same fish can have different names in the same country 😆
Cheers mate!
Hay mate great videos cheers, keep em coming, interested in your live bait tank, looks like a bucket with a small pump?
Yeah just a standard bucket with a pump you'll pick up at your local tackle store. I think I bought the bucket at Bunnings 😉
Good tips andy. With ur computer diagram where u drifted at about 10:50 u can see exactly what u ment by it. I reckon u nailed it with ur mouse
My mouse is pretty crappy so it wasnt easy Haha. Thanks mate 🤙
Welcome back love the jewfish videos 👍
Cheers mate. Good to be back 😉🐟
Thanks nice video all the way from Png
Awesome video mate, I’ve tried so many times for jew at the spit, come so close so many times but no dice.
Now you've got a bit of good info you'll be able to get that monkey off your back 🤙
Great Videos and easy to understand tips and advise. I love the quality of your videos, could you please advise me on what video gear you use as i would like to get my own recording setup.
regards
Just a GoPro. Use 2 if that suits. I use a 7 and 8. Cyberlink power director to edit. Artlist for my tunes. I render out my vids at 35,000MBps so it looks quality. Plus 10 years editing experience helps. Thanks mate!
Keep it up mate!!! I just saw ur video, just sub, n like it…
Thanks Lee
Awesome vid. How well would pike go for bait. Would you still use the one hook. is it as good fishing on the out going tide
Pike are the bomb!
Hey mate great video👍 just a question fishing off the beach for mulloway, would you recommend to use braid or Mono?
Good job ❤
2:21 already subbed bro! Yeah I hear you with the algorithms bro. She’s a slog for sure. Took me ages to get to 2.6k lol. Keep it up man🤟🏼Some great info I’ll try apply in SA👍
Legend 🍻
Any land based areas on the coast that might be worth a shot for jewys? Loving the content mate good job 👍
The Seaway wall or Sandpumping jetty
New to your channel and great video very helpful. Being from Brissy and not having fished that area where do you recommend to catch livies?
The bait grounds south East of the Seaway. Should be able to google it
Hey mate, thanks for the awesome advice I loved the video! Especially cause I live on the Gold Coast and have never caught a Jewfish! The last 2 weekends i have gone out solo on my ski and copied exactly what you guys have done in the chase for my own fish but I can't seem to get any live bait! Do you have any more tips or locations you could possibly share to help a brother out?
Love your work, cheers.
There are a couple of bait grounds near by. Head out of the seaway and past the sand pumping jetty. Shoot out to sea from there. You'll see boats and that is the bait ground. Also join local fishing pages on the Gold Coast and fishos will be more than helpful giving you exact coordinated. I don't have them as I've sold my boat since that video was made. Good luck
@@CoastfishTV ok will do, thanks for the reply!
You guys make it look easy
Love the content, what moon phase do you prefer.? I know you said you caught them in all tides.😜
Thats a great way to hook up the live yakka, never done it this way before mind me asking do they last long though?
Hang tough mate you do great video. Always enjoy them
Cheers Michael
Used the same drift pattern on daybreak for years back in the day. Never used live bait but flesh and pilllys amazing what lives there like a wild card of fishing. Bag limit for dew is 1 person or is it per vehicle?
Lost count how many times got checked coming back to ramp...
Cheers
Love you vid all the way from Png Aussie border..
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice job guys, it looks like you attracted attention near the end with other boats hanging around , your spot is no longer a secret lol , thanks for the tips you share , I mostly fish from land based when I venture to the ocean , I live inland so ocean fishing might be some years before wetting a line in the salt so any fish I catch is precious lol so I take them home to eat no catch and release for me unless it’s undersize or undesirable. Liked and subscribed great video. .👍
Hey mate what’s the best tide and moon to go for these fish
Edit- don’t worry just needed to watch a bit more of the vid
Thanks Andy! Very informative video. I have been heading straight out to the reefs and never thought about fishing this area. What time of day would you recommend? Also, what meter swell would you recommend to fish this area? Cheers.
Anytime of the day mate. Seriously. Though more of the bigger fish come out to play at night if you're game to give that a go 🤙
@@CoastfishTV cheers Andy. See you on the water.
