Gold dragons are lawful good. They are also the friendliest of dragons toward humans aside from silver dragons. They breath fire, but they prefer to defend goodly "lesser" beings from evil dragons.

O.K i just saw half of this weeks episode on twitch and i must say, BEST EPISODE EVER, wait till part 2 (or 3 :P)
they did get penaltys from shooting from horse back in previous episodes, if I remember correctly neal said it had to stand still or they would get them. I guess he either forgot, or changed the rules.
To quote Neal, the captain had promised them "several hundred gold" as a reward. 200 is a few hundred, several is 500 or more, I'd say. Ah well... no matter.
Curious about this new objective. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they found it, came up to it, then saw "tinges" of dark green. Quite the pinch, then.
Neil in head: "Dammit, should've said a couple."

That makes sense. I was thinking it might have been AD&D. I don't recall a 2.5.

actually all dragons can turn into what ever they want to. They can be humans or elves or dwarves. Seeing into the future, well they can if they have the right spells. But so can humans too. Remember a lot of games dragons off the dragons from D&D. Not all of them but they did define dragon anatomy for the modern gamer.
It's an amazing week guys.

About this whole thing of having a better chance to hit while on horseback (only with melee weapons, as far as i understand), shouldn't it be more difficult to hit but get a bonus to damage?
You would have more speed and weight behind the blow, so it would be difficult to make last second adjustments, making it harder to hit, but that same weight and speed would make it a more damaging blow.
Yeah i get that. I was talking about melee weapons though (i guess i didnt make that clear).

Neal's modified 2nd edition basically.
Shooting from horseback while charging is insanely difficult, to the verge of impossible without having pretty much lived in the saddle from infancy. There should´ve been a massive penalty to hit in that situation =/

I don't understand why they're so scared of the dragon. They can drop 3 Ds on it for most likely 60 damage or higher plus the arrows and Azril's spells it should be a walk in the park!

horse archery is incredibly difficult but if the horse isnt moving it wouldnt be as bad

If you've ever ridden a horse you'd know that even while its walking, nevermind galloping, you're bouncing and shaking all over the place. Aiming a bow is almost impossible unless you've spent a lifetime training.
