RollPlay is a weekly Dungeons and Dragons 2.5E campaign with iNcontroL, LivinPink, Ryan Moore, and JP McDaniel with Dungeon Master Neal Erickson (SC2 Ratings).
All graphic work is from Daniel Weijden.

I love how Geoff whispered "Gesundheit" to Ryan which is German for "bless you" when he sneezed.
Gesundheit is a very common way to say bless you.
Gesundheit means health, not 'bless you'.
It means health, yes. But when someone sneezes you say "Gesundheit", which equals the English "bless you". German native speaker here.
KendricSwissh Gesundheit is very common, even in America, for saying bless you.

I think you are the first person to not confuse the player with the character. Congratulations!
Barriston's snoring cracked me up so much, one of them finishes saying something important and then just after you hear a dog snoring. Really hope that Neal works it into one of Genvieve's Detect Noise attempts: "You hear the rumblings of a mighty beast slumbering"
He just wanted his father back more than anything. Is that so hard to forgive? Oh wait we're talking about vincent longborn? Totally too hard to forgive. I imagined his speech over Banon's body in reaction to a starbucks employee short changing him. "You were only out for yourself and I did what I had to do"
I say Vincent is Lawful Evil, maybe Lawful Neutral, but I'm leaning towards Evil. He has a code he follows, a moral system, but he uses it to justify all sorts of evil actions. No mercy.
I'm really sad for Banon. It was the least evil wish, selfish but very relateable.
Gamer Krim ...i actually didn't like banon, he wasn't of any importants to the team, most fights he didn't do any damage or only attacked once. he only joined out of boredom and having nothing left to do.
as for his wish, you realise, he wanted his father back so that he could get the items his father had created. remember the boots tudagub had, yeah, banons father made those boots, with his father back, he'd have access to his fathers knowledge.
also, banon was an evil wizard who enjoyed killing anyone he could and would throw a fit if he was stopped. :/ would you show remorse for dalamar if he died?
+Gamer Krim For sure not Lawful Evil, he couldn't be. He's shown complete disregard for the law on too many occasions for him to be lawful. He's at best Neutral Evil, though he really characterizes Chaotic Evil from what I've seen of him. Ironically he's supposed to be Chaotic Good. Alignment doesn't really matter and say how they need to play though Players just do what they do., It's just funny that he made a character that's supposed to be "good" but he roleplayed him into an evil murderous psychopath reacting in almost every situation the way a Chaotic Evil person would. No Good party would have executed Banon for what he did, only an evil and selfish one would. Even considering Banon being an evil character himself. I don't have a problem with Banon doing what he did because he was evil and it made sense, he's a selfish and evil person, that was just his character. It's just weird to see these supposedly "good" guys react the way they did. This is for sure a party of anti-heroes and generally evil dudes, but that's been true for pretty much the entire series. It's just that they are accidentally evil.

No, they were captured the first time they tried to take down the guards, and they sent a messenger to one of the main towns nearby to fetch guards to escort them back.

After the rant you and that other person went on last time I actually held a bit of respect for your arguments against gen, now I think I lost that, not that it matters to you, just noting it.
TheRysyndrome I care what people say, that much it matters. If all it takes is for my sense of humor to cloud your judgment, then you never really understood what I meant to begin with. Any hoo, appreciate your notice.
I don't mean to say that what you were saying before was any less true, but it just seems to me that this comment is not the most respectful, you are still very much entitled to your own opinion, so no ill wishes are meant.
They took a big loss with Banon...if they had worked together to keep him safe in battle he was a beast. That last fight he did more damage than all of Gens, Bregor's, and like 1/2 of Vincent's total damage combined in a single spell. This was one of my favorite most interesting characters.

Party entombs Banon in crypt, keepers come back to asses the damage and get crypt back in working order, find black robed mage in one of the coffins. Proceed to throw him in a ditch outside the crypt.
oh and one more thing, kinda in her defense, when Tudagub died she wasn't all that happy happy joy joy, she even made Abby "give back" the gold she once stole from him, Bananamon wasn't that close to the party, ye he did some cool moves with that kamehameha wave but overall betrayed them BIGTIME - no need for griefing in my book

Finally caught up. Just started watching recently, really entertaining. Inspired me to play ToEE and NWN2 again.
I didn't entirely believe Banon died, last session. Thought I'd peaked ahead of this one, when I first found the show, and noted Banon being a part of it.
Ah well... he was becoming somewhat more interesting lately, but he did roll poorly on both HP and spells, he was a tad gimped. His unpredictable personality made him all the less helpful. But those quirks seemed very much in-character and good game.
Bottom line, his spell repertoire added a lot of strategic possibility to the party. And he proved essential or even critical several times, especially when they made use of his area-of-effect invisibility. His grease and laz0r beem at the gate during the siege likely made all the difference in that battle.
I'm not bummed he's gone and has made way for yet another new PC already, but I think they failed to recognize his devotion to the party. He had done other unpredictable things before, such as fatally poke the poor slave gal in the neck. This time, it was simply worse... kinda. By now, it would've gotten through them that his father was a very big deal for him. Hell, he said he'd join them as he had no purpose left in life, when assembling his father's relics was no longer possible. Should've expected he'd try to wish for his old man back.
He wasn't against them or even not with them. Banon was their ally, he simply prioritized his father and his legacy that much more over the party, as expected. Pity they didn't recognize this.
PS: if not for Vinnie's armor sales, the party would be largely incognito at this point. Their names were never disclosed to the castle back in Wind Sail, only their (rough?) description, if I recall the interrogation correctly.
Jimmy De'Souza Did he? Hell, it's been almost a year, I remember nothing of it anymore. But the partying including a prince, well, folks wouldn't just look on them and know.
Jimmy De'Souza Put that way, it sounds extraordinary, but this is a highly fantastical setting. A prince among many, looking no different than any other knight, officer and whatnot, in his plate armor. They'd all be relatively tall and muscular. Two elves would actually stand out much more, but they're also not that exotic. The mage is even less exotic, a lesser curiosity depending on the region since there seems to be mages running shops in every town. They stand out compared to a common mercenary group of humans, but that's all.

You say that, but as I'm typing this the party is completely draped with magical items and laden with gold of their own. Wanna know why this is? Because money isn't made in D&D by looting corpses. A zombie doesn't shamble around with hundreds of pounds of coins on him at all times. loot is found in giant piles or in chests in a hidden corner of the lair where thieves (not the class, just normal thieves) can't get to it. It'd be almost impossible for abi to sneak that out, and she never has.
so that you could just watch the first few parts as they come out and not have to wait for the ending over the course of the week.
I would have liked being a silver dragon better then being an elf too. Silver dragons are beautiful.

That depends on who plays them, I usually go for chaotic good or chaotic neutral. And rogue is basically the only nonmagical class I play. Well, except for psions, but noone usually lets you play them... =p
I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that now they are selling the shirts with his artwork they are probably paying him for the current and future art he makes for them. Otherwise it would be a possible law suit. JP is cool though and pays his DM Neal and the artist who designs his stream art so I would bet he is paying for this now as well. Wow, it has happened. I actually am looking forward to a TPK. Interesting story but I really think it will end in a tragedy.

Yes, and you're conveniently ignoring and overlooking the fact that in the early sessions Abi had a metric shitload of things on her and never even disclosed having them. Can't remember what week it was, but even Vincent finally said "This take everything and never tell anyone anything has to stop" when she started going on about rings and whatnot.
And it's a fair point. I have no issue with her compulsively grabbing coins, but she looted magic items without a peep to the party. That's wrong.
TB is gonna be gone one week and the DM the other. We're gonna have to wait a bit.

I watched the whole series in a week :) found it thru tb, really liking this, Even when its frustrating cause u want to yell at ppl from some of the bonehead decisions. Please keep up the good work

Wut? Baleful Polymorph is the spell that makes people forget who they are. In addition to that, the subjects original memory and intelligence is regained once the spell ends. Ceela's story makes no sense.

Fun fact: A trait is not a cliche if it's a prerequisite for receiving the label. e.g. it is not acceptable to call a black man with brown skin "cliche".
Thieves steal from others and return nothing (greed) and the charitable give things to others for nothing in return (altruism). This is a simple fact that I hope one would pick up just by living. Unfortunately, it seems that you have only lived vicariously through fantasy and old fairy tales rather than experiencing the world for yourself.
