I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary of having done the lemosho route back February 2020, I barely beat the covid flight shutdowns by 2 weeks!. Amazing trip. Get the physician to sign off on the trip as you would be asked to take a health eval as I'm sure you may already know. Just be sure you trained sufficiently, have the proper gear, vaccinations, tip properly as the porters risk life and limb to haul your stuff up. Bring your generic pain meds and have acetazolamide to help with altitude sickness. Your rain gear, sleep gear, hiking gear test it out and make sure its good to go. Wear in those boots if they are new and be mindful of how your body is feeling during the hike up and let the guides know all the details, theres no shame in failure, the guides stated the mountain is not going anywhere, there is always next time if you fail to summit. RUclips is your friend there are tons of videos on every aspect of the trip from gear advice to insurance, tipping, where to stay before the trip starts. When you are on the mountain have a positive state of mind, don't think about how much more hiking is left but enjoy each step and go "pole pole". Summit night, you will probably start at midnight and hike all the way through towards sunrise, your water bottle hose may freeze, keep your Nalgene bottle upside down and in a sock to keep it form freezing. And remember, all that goes up must come down, the down hill back to camp, and then back to the base of the mountain will be challenging as you will be going down thousands of feet in a fraction of the time it took to go up. Safe travels
You guys made one hell of a video I'm taking the Lemosho route for sure. I heard its the most scenic? I just wonder did you see any giant Groundsels on the way?
Looks unreal! The landscape and different views you see I can imagine being speechless 😍
