I’ve been looking at those approach boots. How do those the ankle support compare with a regular hiking boot? Have you don’t any climbing in them? How do they perform?
The ankle support is about the same, and we've found them to feel lighter and really comfortable! Great for trekking and hiking as they're not as hot to wear as a hiking boot in warm weather.
Would stainless steel water bottles work? Or does it have to be plastic?
Stainless is fine it doesn’t have to be plastic
15kg for the porters
The porters carry 2 bags. Therefore we reduce this to 12kg per bag as per lots of other providers.
