I took the Lemoshu route a few months ago and I would say that my favourite scenery was the green rolling hills & ridges in the section from leaving the rainforest up to the Shira Plateau on Day2.
I don't think the Baranco Wall will be an issue for anyone but the most extreme vertigo sufferers. My wife is so bad with heights that there have been occasions when she has just frozen on a hillside and it has taken me 15-20 minutes to coax her into continuing but on the Baranco Wall she had no issues at all because most of the path is quite wide. The infamous 'kissing wall' section was so trivial that she was not even sure whether was what she had just negotiated. It is also a highlight of the trip for nearly everyone because you get to feel you have climbed something but there are plenty of safe foot and handholds.

      Hey,
Thanks for sharing your valuable insight. We would agree with everything you say:-)
The Barranco Wall is definitely a challenge and looks daunting, but not as intimidating once you're actually on it.

Great video! I climbed Macheme route in 2015. The route is only busy during the high season. I went in November which is the lowseason. There were only 16 hikers. I was the 13th and last hiker to summit. What the video doesn't state is the Lemosho route combines with the Macheme route on that 3rd day.

Alice, can I bring my pug (7.7 kg) on any of these routes? Which route is most appropriate for a pug?

Some animals can not easily or comfortable adapt the weather and altitude changes, so it can be dangerous, even on mountain animals not all go higher than 4000amsl . Its very rare to see one

Great question! Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the mountain.
