Man I wouldn't want to lose my job either.
That polite trooper pulls people over just to tell them have a great day how respectful of those Maryland state troopers!
She should’ve been issued a citation she’s not above the law.
She is in Maryland
No he shouldn’t have ..it’s called discretion. I’m not giving my boss a ticket. Smh
@@alexpablo1200 When that officer SWORE to his oath he must have had his fingers crossed. Would he have used that same DISCRETION towards me in that same exact situation? And folks that's where the difference is!!
I've been stopped a few times & almost always didn't get a ticket.@@onemischiefmaker7032
It is discretion. The Trooper is empowered to choose how he wants to enforce the traffic stop.
Verbal warning, written warning, a citation or just tell them to drive better and let them go.
He chose to let that person go.
Very respectful trooper. He knows what's up. Common sense wins.
Rules for thee, not for me
and that's how things work when you're a "somebody" everyone else gets the ticket
I don’t believe that the traffic laws state “ If you are speeding above prudent speed limits and you are the ACTING SUPERINTENDENT, you do not get a citation or warning.” The law is the law. Discretion may be at the leisure of the officer however, nothing was done in this case. Oh, that’s right, she’s the Superintendent!!! The ONLY person she answers to is the Governor. Don’t wanna make her late for the Cabinet meeting.
Got pulled over by a Maryland State Trooper for speeding. He reminded me of the speed limit and wanted me to get where I was going safely. Then told me to have a nice day. No tickets, no nothing....I'm not a big deal on any political chart, I'm just a drywall guy, driving an old beat up van, trying to make a living. Don't be too quick to judge.
Outstanding Performance experience!!! After all, certain traffic infractions are at the officer’s discretion.👍🏾

Everyone complaining about regular people get screwed. I'm a nobody. I passed an unmarked cop on the wrong side of the road & was driving past curfew. No ticket. I turned left onto a major road despite a "No left turn" sign. Cop waiting at next block specifically to enforce the no turn. No ticket. During rush hour made a very illegal U-turn on a major street. I couldn't make the turn so needed to back up to complete the turn. The car waiting behind me was a cop! He pulled me over. No ticket. I've found if you're nice & respectful more often than not you come out ok.
@@mikekreen9336 - I had a paper plate on my car from buying it out of state. Was traveling from Ohio to RIchmond VA on business and was stopped by a Maryland trooper who said that the plastic plate cover was illegal in Maryland. I pointed out to him that the glass in the back of the SUV was black and all those people with their temp tags in their windows could not be read by he or I or even kids with young eyes. I put that tag inside a clear plastic and laminated it and covered it with that plastic plate shield to keep it dry. Looked good and I run my lights all the time so it was lit and readable. He agreed and said it was against the law but it was a lot better than the paper and I was not obscuring the plate. I think he was just looking for BS because people haul drugs through there. He wrote me a warning and said that would prevent a ticket in MD till I got home. I thanked him and was on my way. Only a few of them are pricks. Most of them are decent people trying to do a miserable job dealing with aholes.
welcome to harford county, we still have a sitting judge that has had multiple dui's ....
So in essence, the law is biased and preferential in nature. And it’s for these very reasons why politics win every time. If this is a situation where the Trooper feared retaliation for doing his job ( no matter who the individual is) then this needs to be addressed. At minimum, a warning should have been issued as a reminder of the laws that she expects motorist to adhere to and obey. Again, the law is the law. People in particular positions of authority discriminate using the law. So you see, preferential bias goes beyond that of race, it’s a action that is determined based on follow-up consequences and the need ( not desire) to secure a position/job/career. That’s what they refer to as the “ Good Ole Boys “ system. You either in or you’re not!
I wonder how bouncing the radar gun like that effects the calibration.
That’s absurd
Land of the free......
All y'all crying. Ive (a nobody ) been pulled over a few times for very clear violations. I was polite, respectful & apologetic & was let off almost every time. Its called "Discretion"
Joe Biden says, "hold my beer, this is nothing", wait til you see what I've gotten away with and Jr. too.
If Joe Biden, I don’t even 10% of the crimes that Trump and his family have done the GOP would’ve never let him get elected president.
Shout out to all the lames that let the Biden's live rent free...
