I can’t explain how much John K Samson’s work, weakerthans, propagandi, and solo, has meant to and effected me. For a long time I didn’t realise it. But one day, in a library I felt just how many of his words are in my veins. Thanks John. And thank you to the uploader.

I learnt more in this conversation than 3 years at University.

this was really great, and the content was of utmost value. What a talent..He has taken the time to get better at writing and playing guitar , produced both with great quality, and because of that he should be proud. An artifact of our times. Thanks UBC for putting this together.

I've heard the album versions of Virtute but they lacked the intent of this version and I finally get it ALL.
The explanation of Night Windows broke my heart. In the best way. I never had a way to talk about that feeling.
The influence of WH Auden was interesting too. Go read some of Auden's poems and imagine them in his voice and timing... :D
