- Jedi Fallen Order's Platinum made me a fan of Star Wars! Before the release of Star Wars Jedi Survivor I wanted to playthrough and platinum Fallen Order to be caught up with the story. Although this game only had a Platinum Trophy difficulty of 3/10 this was still very fun to complete.

Hey, fun fact! There actually have been Jedi with (natural) red lightsabers!
The most famous is Adi Galia, who had a red kyber crystal until after Phantom Menace. Between Ep 1 and 2, the Jedi Council forced her to swap it for a blue one due to the confirmed return of the Sith.

9 hours to 100%? That's insane. Took me 9 hours just on leaving the planet with the temple and the tall guys with the multiple ball puzzles.

I’ve noticed when playing games for long periods of time the ps5s timer thing doesn’t work well. Like it tells me I got the plat trophy for hogwarts legacy in 20 hours which just isn’t true lmao

@@adryanratynski9159 it tells me that i have only 7 hours on hogwarts legacy. Literally no time was added until after finishing it. I probably did 7 within the first 2 days of playing
Played the entire game in max difficulty, let’s just say I almost turned to the dark side many times.

I played on padawan because this was my first game like this.... let's just say the Trilla fight wasn't too fun with three stims and barely any secrets found 😆. I recently did a run on GM where I actually grabbed the secrets and extra stims and beat Trilla first try with only using 3 stims

played it on the hardest as well, i was miserable

The hourcounter is buggy.. platinumed Witcher 3 in 34 hours.. thats not possible 😅
Same I saw that and was like there aint no way boy. Like most guides put the plat at around 30-35 hours like I can maybe see a few hours being shaved off but that is 21 hours like theres just no way.

@@davidestabrooks211 I've seen a Platinum run that was a little over 14 hours. But he was playing on the easiest difficulty.
The counter on PlayStation is very inconsistent it’s usually wrong about the time you’ve played a game but not by much. But some games it has a huge error in times I Platinumed God of war Ragnorak in 37 hours but my PlayStation counter says 55 hours and the in game timer says 37 hours. So his PlayStation timer is really really inaccurate

If you really enjoyed the game I actually highly recommend running it back on GM difficulty, unlike most 'highest difficulty' settings JGM isn't just a non-sensical setting meant for masochists. It is actually a pretty natural jump in difficulty that actually makes the game feel more realistic and doesn't take long to get used to. The main changes are the obvious parry timing change but it isn't insanely tight it is similar to parry timing in Souls games, enemy aggression is the big change though because enemies will actually come at you like you're a threat rather than dancing around you going in 1 by 1. Also enemies do more damage of course but only enough extra damage that it makes attacks that are supposed to be a threat into one.
If they have GM in Jedi Survivor I may have to attempt that for a video…
I actually play JDM in Fallen Order currently. Recently defeated ninth sister after a 3 hour and a half session. WTF! BUT I LOVE IT

Was itching for a souls like close to Elden Rings release. Really enjoyed this game. Can't believe the second one is so close to release.
I just got the plat for this game yesterday. I've never played a Star Wars game before (except the racing one from 20 years ago) and I've gotta say that I was so pleasantly surprised. This game is so awesome and I had fun all the way through the story even though I decided to play it on the hardest difficulty from the get go and at times I was stuck at some places for a long time (especially bosses). The only time I got frustrated was when after I finished the story I started getting the collectables using a guide. It was so painful at times to get in certain places of some planets. I got lost a million times. They should've implemented a fast travel option that gets available after finishing the story. And one other thing. Be cause I was playing on Grand Master and I barely beat The Second Sister at the end it was actually soo scary when that other guy showed up and I thought I had to fight and beat him too cause not only I had almost zero health but he looked almost invincible. But yeah, overall - great game.
I get bored of games fast but for some reason this one keeps me going :3 it’s good idk if I’ll do the collectibles although trying my best lol the thought of scouring the worlds again kinda has me like mehhhh

I just realised the Triple Take trophy around 7:30 is a obvious reference to Apex Legends' Triple Take / Titanfall 2's Double Take, obviously both prized previous hits from Respawn Entertainment.

it was hard to get to to the bounty hunters in the venator because you went the wrong way. you weren't supposed to go back there but instead come from the other side

Got the platinum on PS4 1.5 years ago, now that I am replaying it on the PS5 version I don’t have the platinum any more. I would love to have it on PS5 as well but I really can not be bothered do to it all again😅

I played this on Jedi Master for the actual playthrough, and then switched to story mode on free roam for the remaining collectibles.
A solid game that desperately needed a fast travel option because the backtracking particularly in Kashyyk, Zeppo and Dathomir made it sometimes confusing and convoluted.
Total time for me was 34 hours with map completion taking up an additional 3-4 hours at the end.
Ugh!
So now I know I am not the only one lost in the game cuz I was lost in all the tombs and every misson

Dathomir was the only planet that gave me trouble when getting 100% of the map.

My biggest problem with 100% in this game is the guides, none where perfect and always had one problem, weather that be not including the scans, to doing the collectibles during the story, to not having timestamps to collectibles. Also didn’t help that I actually needed to look at the map and find out how to get from point A to point B.
Luckily this was fixed in the second game via fast travel and being able to see most of the collectibles with the exceptions being the fish, force tiers, bode story databanks, all characters databank, and a random databank in koboh. (Basically they removed the need for guides, except for those specific collectibles)

It would be cool if you keep all your skills and upgrades from Fallen Order for when you start Survivor. That way you’re as powerful as you were at the end of the first game. This will only be an option for people who completed Fallen Order and have a save file. But it should be optional to keep all your skills. If you choose to keep them, then the game forces you to play on the hardest difficulty. In my opinion, that would be awesome. Vs starting out fresh

i'm gonna be honest jedi master is the best dificulty for me, the timing and damage of everything is just on point to me, jedi knight feels like the enemies are in slow motion and i can't really parry, for example the first fight with trilla i perfected her and the cutscene spared her of the shame that would come from being defeated by a forceless jedi, but when i tried again on a new game playing in knight i was like a toddler who couldn't do shit i just rolled around
