you lot better get your act together. The Olympics are only a shadow of it's former self and including break dancing is only one of the reasons (besides the political shenanigans you are involved in obviously).
nicka and ami both shined so much in the finals and i loved how they hype eachother up yet are able to have so much fun whilst being eachothers competition. all of the girlies are so talented and great at what they do but those two shined so much!
I'm so proud of Japan, she deserves. I''m also a fan of Nicka, those moves.
Raygun literally stole all the shine from these amazing bgirls. Very unfair. As an Australian sorry for that.

@DequaLB actually i watched only from the quarter finals on a dedicated event at the London Olympic Park, as i could watch the rest online later. I still haven't watched the victim of harrasment for no reason. You should respect human beings if they dont offend you personnaly.

The LA 2028 committee decided not to include breakdancing back in 2023. It has nothing to do with Raygun.

Yes, especially in LA with the C Walk and West Coast Hip Hop, being is so original. Also, they could include team breaking battles as its the best thing to re watched. They improvise coregraphies and constantly look at each others, its so awesome to watch.
It was NOT "removed".
The events are predetermined and LA did NOT have breaking listed as their sports. This happened long before Paris 2024. Which means that RayGunn had no effect on LA28 having no breaking.
Each Olympic city has a chance to list sports that may or may not be kept for the Olympics to come. So let's not make it a "LA hates breaking" thing.

Breakdancing is such an amazing art! It also takes a lot of athleticism and technique to master. Similar to Gymnastics. Shame it won’t be in LA Olympics 😢

Some gymnastics, swimming, and skating competitions follow the "originality" criteria, I think.
@@aizpruart, I don't know of any, but I stand by my statement that they don't belong if they are scored such. Rhythmic gymnastics, for example, is marginal IMO because it is scored for "artistry", but the criteria for that is fairly objective (e.g., contrasting tempo, use of space, etc.).
