    nicka and ami both shined so much in the finals and i loved how they hype eachother up yet are able to have so much fun whilst being eachothers competition. all of the girlies are so talented and great at what they do but those two shined so much!

      The LA 2028 committee decided not to include breakdancing back in 2023. It has nothing to do with Raygun.

      Stop spreading lies ! It was decided in 2023 that breakdancing would be included as a one- off sport in 2024. It was only ever going to be a one time thing. It's people like you creating this train of hate.

      Yes, especially in LA with the C Walk and West Coast Hip Hop, being is so original. Also, they could include team breaking battles as its the best thing to re watched. They improvise coregraphies and constantly look at each others, its so awesome to watch.

      It was NOT "removed".
      The events are predetermined and LA did NOT have breaking listed as their sports. This happened long before Paris 2024. Which means that RayGunn had no effect on LA28 having no breaking.
      Each Olympic city has a chance to list sports that may or may not be kept for the Olympics to come. So let's not make it a "LA hates breaking" thing.

    Breakdancing is such an amazing art! It also takes a lot of athleticism and technique to master. Similar to Gymnastics. Shame it won’t be in LA Olympics 😢

      Some gymnastics, swimming, and skating competitions follow the "originality" criteria, I think.

      @@aizpruart, I don't know of any, but I stand by my statement that they don't belong if they are scored such. Rhythmic gymnastics, for example, is marginal IMO because it is scored for "artistry", but the criteria for that is fairly objective (e.g., contrasting tempo, use of space, etc.).
