@junpei6180 ok so what happened was this, i originally watched a lets play, i was about to see the end when they gave up, i researched a bit on what happens, then started limbus, then learned i actually can play the game and realized i have many gaps in what happens. Like I know what happens in the end, just non of the major plot points or any battles past star of the city. Basically im playing yo understand what’s happening and see the last of the story i am missing(like i have no clue what’s up with the light and so on) Edit: so remember their was a couple months between the let’s play, a few days for me looking up the ending, then a good amount of months till i learned I can play the game, im just now understanding the plot

I'm still in delight, that Mili wrote "world.execute(me)", someone made a fan animation to LC with that, and it turn out Tha Mili is now writing the music for LoR.
Since Mili seems to be in charge of story bosses(most of them, anyway, since I assume EGO Philip is gonna get the EIM treatment instead if they end up changing it from Warriors), I can't wait for the inevitable Mili song for Argalia, and whatever emotional asskicking that'll give us.

If we consider TMRY to be something approximating an abnormality, it could be trying to recreate the location it is most confortable in, much like the rest of the abnormalities and ego users in the Library. TMRY definitely has the emotions all built up inside of it to match, considering that it has WAY more than just Tommy and Merry making up the bulk. Remember that nobody dies aboard the train, and that they talked of shaping some people into either triangles or squares. Additionally, they’re way more massive than they should be for being just two people stitched together, so where did that mass come from?
The battles with different music and locales are all fights that have specifically to do with characters beyond their emotional breaking point- characters who have either succeeded in controlling their own psyche and manifesting EGO, or characters who succumbed to themselves and distorted. While the being from said town not spoken of doesn't *quite* fit the bill of either, they *are* a direct product of a Distortion's work, and have clearly lost themselves to their own mind, making them extremely similar to that of a Distortion. The most emotionally charged characters are the ones who get the Mili treatment, and that makes those fights so amazing

Irony at its peak when realizing that all Philip had wished for is not to see or hear anything, only cry out loud. But all that was left of him is the Unspeaking Child. Though this could also be a turning point of his story, now with his split personalities of unseeing and unhearing gone, he can’t avoid reality and speak about what comforts him anymore, thus giving him a chance to reflect upon himself. As L Corp’s motto face the fear, build the future, Philips could be closer than ever to overcoming his fear and building a bright future for himself.

How beautiful it is to have a phrase mean two different things and fit as if in beginning and end: In one side, the simple use of a item, a candle that will burn out and be discarted just as human lifes are discarted without much thought in this City. Uncaring and harsh is the world after all, why put that much investiment in it. In the other side, however, I see a reference to a old tale of two candles, one of wax and one of tallow, were one goes to give light to a ball in a chandelier or a silver candlestick were he could see society shine just as he would, the other goes to help light the night for a poor widow to weave. The tallow candle noticed that he could be as happy as the wax candle because he could see bright shinning eyes in a poor girl that would dine hot potatos just as much as in a girl that would wear a big red sash in the ball. He accepted his lot and continue to burn until its end. I hope he finds his way.
Your interpretation of this song is beautiful, and I agree with your thoughts. I love music that adds as much to experiences as the visual, so in contrast to the character, you see his pain from the art, you hear his longing through the piano and lyrics, and through speech you can understand how he got there, when he did, and why he did. Fantastic game.

I disagree. No one has to be the villain. The nature of existence and the fundamentality of sufferring is villain enough to make anyone fighting to improve it a hero.

The nature of existence and the fundamentality of suffering being the sole villain is too bare bones to create a hero. If everyone in an apocalyptic setting started backstabbing each other out of desperation for recourses then it there'd be no reason for good guys to exists since everyone is doing it out of desperation to survive, but if there's that one guy who's stealing more than what they need to survive and is actually actively causing pain to others because they enjoy it then that's when people are actually going to start doing the right thing since someone has already taken things too far.
Philip... a sad child who could not bear his own guilt and sold his soul to the devil, and could not find salvation. I hope you will live a happy and strong life in the next life.

My friend introduced me to this game, and asked me to try it on his laptop. It went pretty fine, at the beginning, as he gave me beginner battle with his kinda advanced decks (he's still in midgame, so not too end game and still pretty messy decks too). Till my 3rd battle, yes he asked me to do this battle. He had only beaten it once, and with just one char remaining, he didn't expect me to win. I won, my third damned battle in ruina, is this fricking statues that keep reviving over and over again. I WON THAT GODDAMN FIGHT
Anyone else feel even worse for You Know Who now? Like despite all of the bad stuff and feelings and emotions, I really do pity them. That said their new theme slaps.
As much as I sympathize for that poor fella, as his insecurities and coping mechanism really break that man apart, and I can relate to that in some way, but I really want to completely and utter destroy him after he had regain all hope and wield the power of EGO to its maximum. The Self-Made Hero coming for vengeance against nuggets, drape in his colleagues heard and equipment, finally taken down valiantly, breaking everything he worked and stood for.

He's suffering through perhaps one of the most difficult situations one could gave in The City, and all he's getting is ridicule from its denizens and from The Library, all because he's trying to stand up for something. I mean, yes, he takes some things too seriously, but who wouldn't?! He simply wants to avenge his friends' deaths and you know what? I think none of us watchers can be in his position and say to ourselves "Oh that sucks better luck next time" because we're human. None of us can do what seems to be expected of Philip. It seems that in The City's ignorance of morals and the soul, one man decided to stand up for what he believes in. And I respect him for that.

Man,if you think about it,Philip was THIS close to have a happy ending. Spoiler If Oscar didn't put teleporter on him,he would most certainly died in his E.G.O. Philip boss fight. Which means,later he would be restored along with Salvador and Yuna and not only that,but he would also be restored in his E.G.O form,after his character development so his insecurities would be fixed as well.Hell,his E.G.O. manifestation would absolutely helped him skyrocket in Fixer ranks. It's just so damn tragic.
A bitter irony that Oscar’s attempt to save Philip was what doomed him. Not just the part where he was denied that ending… but also because the teleporter sent him straight to Oswald. Someone who ensured that Phillip would drown in tears when he could’ve risen like a Phoenix. 😭

The Soundtrack for Ruina is what introduced me to Project Moon, and back when I found it I wasn’t a big fan of this one. But after fighting the Crying Children dang does this hit hard, it’s one of my favorites now. It’s so perfect for Philip, and really shows both the tragedy of his character as well as really bringing to light that you are the villain in this series of receptions.

Sucks that Philip is confirmed dead due to being apart of the Reverberation Ensemble (and dying in the library) but atleast he makes a return in limbus
Hes not entirely dead yet though. Some of the crying children got turned into books and only 1 ran away (again). The one that ran away later became the blue reverb Philip that we killed. Thats why the page you get after crying children reception is called "incomplete". There is a small chance that we might see Philip one more time in limbus

If we consider TMRY to be something approximating an abnormality, it could be trying to recreate the location it is most confortable in, much like the rest of the abnormalities and ego users in the Library. TMRY definitely has the emotions all built up inside of it to match, considering that it has WAY more than just Tommy and Merry making up the bulk. Remember that nobody dies aboard the train, and that they talked of shaping some people into either triangles or squares. Additionally, they’re way more massive than they should be for being just two people stitched together, so where did that mass come from?
The battles with different music and locales are all fights that have specifically to do with characters beyond their emotional breaking point- characters who have either succeeded in controlling their own psyche and manifesting EGO, or characters who succumbed to themselves and distorted. While the being from said town not spoken of doesn't *quite* fit the bill of either, they *are* a direct product of a Distortion's work, and have clearly lost themselves to their own mind, making them extremely similar to that of a Distortion.
The most emotionally charged characters are the ones who get the Mili treatment, and that makes those fights so amazing

How beautiful it is to have a phrase mean two different things and fit as if in beginning and end:
In one side, the simple use of a item, a candle that will burn out and be discarted just as human lifes are discarted without much thought in this City. Uncaring and harsh is the world after all, why put that much investiment in it.
In the other side, however, I see a reference to a old tale of two candles, one of wax and one of tallow, were one goes to give light to a ball in a chandelier or a silver candlestick were he could see society shine just as he would, the other goes to help light the night for a poor widow to weave. The tallow candle noticed that he could be as happy as the wax candle because he could see bright shinning eyes in a poor girl that would dine hot potatos just as much as in a girl that would wear a big red sash in the ball. He accepted his lot and continue to burn until its end.
I hope he finds his way.
Your interpretation of this song is beautiful, and I agree with your thoughts. I love music that adds as much to experiences as the visual, so in contrast to the character, you see his pain from the art, you hear his longing through the piano and lyrics, and through speech you can understand how he got there, when he did, and why he did. Fantastic game.

My friend introduced me to this game, and asked me to try it on his laptop. It went pretty fine, at the beginning, as he gave me beginner battle with his kinda advanced decks (he's still in midgame, so not too end game and still pretty messy decks too). Till my 3rd battle, yes he asked me to do this battle. He had only beaten it once, and with just one char remaining, he didn't expect me to win.
I won, my third damned battle in ruina, is this fricking statues that keep reviving over and over again. I WON THAT GODDAMN FIGHT

As much as I sympathize for that poor fella, as his insecurities and coping mechanism really break that man apart, and I can relate to that in some way, but I really want to completely and utter destroy him after he had regain all hope and wield the power of EGO to its maximum. The Self-Made Hero coming for vengeance against nuggets, drape in his colleagues heard and equipment, finally taken down valiantly, breaking everything he worked and stood for.

He's suffering through perhaps one of the most difficult situations one could gave in The City, and all he's getting is ridicule from its denizens and from The Library, all because he's trying to stand up for something.
I mean, yes, he takes some things too seriously, but who wouldn't?! He simply wants to avenge his friends' deaths and you know what? I think none of us watchers can be in his position and say to ourselves "Oh that sucks better luck next time" because we're human. None of us can do what seems to be expected of Philip. It seems that in The City's ignorance of morals and the soul, one man decided to stand up for what he believes in. And I respect him for that.

Which means,later he would be restored along with Salvador and Yuna and not only that,but he would also be restored in his E.G.O form,after his character development so his insecurities would be fixed as well.Hell,his E.G.O. manifestation would absolutely helped him skyrocket in Fixer ranks. It's just so damn tragic.
A bitter irony that Oscar’s attempt to save Philip was what doomed him. Not just the part where he was denied that ending… but also because the teleporter sent him straight to Oswald. Someone who ensured that Phillip would drown in tears when he could’ve risen like a Phoenix. 😭

The Soundtrack for Ruina is what introduced me to Project Moon, and back when I found it I wasn’t a big fan of this one. But after fighting the Crying Children dang does this hit hard, it’s one of my favorites now. It’s so perfect for Philip, and really shows both the tragedy of his character as well as really bringing to light that you are the villain in this series of receptions.

Hes not entirely dead yet though. Some of the crying children got turned into books and only 1 ran away (again). The one that ran away later became the blue reverb Philip that we killed. Thats why the page you get after crying children reception is called "incomplete". There is a small chance that we might see Philip one more time in limbus
