It's okay. I'm much preferring Mykel's though. As aggressive frames get nerfed next season, sidearms are going to come back. 450s have the same TTK as Immortal RIGHT NOW and feels great with T3
If they're decoupling range and zoom then that would effect drang too meaning it's 13 zoom will be a non factor and it's current range will change with that update as well. So it'll probably depend on whichever weapon fits the user or situation more. Which is great because it means users that feel stuck using only drang for sidearms in PVP, can maybe use buzzard and an energy weapon of their choice. Overall I'm interested to see how things change when the zoom update occurs
Drangs range won't be affected by the changes. Nerf is directed at Rangefinder. If anything. Drang will still be top dog because it doesn't need rangefinder to hit 18 meters.
@@JohnRaider98 Thats because drang has higher zoom than most other sidearms, and therefore naturally higher effective range. When they decouple zoom from range, it will lose that extra zoom-granted range.
@@JohnRaider98 This is a common misconception I see alot. They said they are changing how zoom affects range (yes rangefinder does increase zoom so it will be a direct nerf to the perk) so drang will also be hit since zoom is carrying the gun right now.
I just wished Kinetic Tremors proc'd at 8th or 9th shot instead. 12 seems excesive, being more than half of the base magazine. Other than that I'm in love with this sidearm, gonna try to farm for a 5/5 roll the whole weekend \o/
@@slade6959 I got both FTTC/overflow and find FTTC to hard to proc consistently with sidearms, just to much bounce, also you can just hipfire with overflow and still easily proc tremors
Why does no one talk about Allied Demand? Its my favorite kinetic. Iron Reach, Range Finder, full bore, accurized, range MW it can get to almost 19 yards. My roll is missing accuraized, but its still 18.5 yards. Its the same archetype too... I play controller and the stability is perfectly fine even with iron reach and full bore.
I've been ill since Guardian Games started (Thanks my beloved baby boy! 😑😄) but I've managed to chip away at a fair bit of that to get the Scout & updated SMG. This week when I found out it was double loot, whilst I haven't made my mates suffer through me coughing to death for a GM run haha! I've got a gew regular runs under my belt & got a handful of really nice rolls. My best PVP Roll atm is Arrowhead, Light Mag, Perpetual, Rangefinder, Range MW. It feels SOLID, even with pretty high Stability I've definitely noticed tap firing is more beneficial with Buzzard vs full auto too.
Who would have thought ''Buzzard" that little sidearm that people forget about during the season of dawn would be good in this day and this meta, and goated with perks.
I've been using an Allied Demand that I love. It feels great thanks to Range Finder/Iron Reach combo with a range masterwork and Steady Rounds + Corkscrew Rifling to recover some of the lost stability from Iron Reach. The only Buzzard I've gotten so far is outranged by more than 2 meters by it along with worse handling. My Buzzard is still fun to use, but I still like the Allied Demand more. Granted, I've also been goofing around with a not great pvp roll of Seventh Seraph SI-2 in the energy slot, and have been having a lot of fun with it. I don't generally care about "meta" or "best-in-slot/weapon type" if something is just fun to use.
As someone that was lucky enough to land that god roll, it feels ridiculously good on controller. I have a really good allied demand but the recoil has always kicked up the end of the barrel to cover the reticle and the target you're shooting which normally is fine because reticle friction but it has cost me a few gunfights before. Buzzard doesn't do that and is definitely a step up IMO. As a shameless controller user I mained forerunner/drang when that was super strong, and it feels as good as drang. I wouldn't say better as they're both S-tier as far as sidearms go and drang is (for most of us) craftable so you can pick what perks you want.
Why shameless controller?? Bruh controller takes way more skill than a simple device called mnk where you can do everything with 1a2 fingers that 70% does the work for you with having non to zero recoil.

For pve: Kinetic tremors is straight up not worth on that kind of gun. 12 bullets to proc that perk is too much, every single red bar is dead after maximum 10 shots in a grandmaster nightfall with a sidearm (if u playing its intended range) and everything that’s not a red bar, your heavy, special weapon or ability is there for. There is literally no reason to use the perk on that gun. Works for scouts and fast firing pulses, but not for anything that fires slower than 390 rpm and requires 12 shots. tried that sidearm with the perk in this weeks gm. Damn was it performing bad. I was only able to proc the perk on the boss, not even for popping barrier shields, it felt worth proccing, at the time it was about to proc, the target was nearly dead (when all 3 teammates were shooting the champ) or I was just better off swapping to my heavy/special right after popping the shield. Kinetic tremors is just an ineffective perk on that gun. Would use frenzy all das long
I know this is going to be a PVE roll but I really like it a compulsive reloader roll with frenzy and a stability masterwork which probably isn't needed but it just feels very very smooth in PVP. Well people seem to forget yes range finder is getting nerfed. But ZOOM in general is getting nerfed. So that 1 extra zoome will do nothing for drang. Buzzard will have more range then drang after the changes and the option of rangefinder. After we know what’s happening to it
I just like going at least one sidearm on each of my characters. There's just something about running around with a simple looking pistol and destroying everything in sight, while then sprinting away with a Lightweight Frame 😂
I do think the sights give it the edge over something like drang, but both are solid picks. I absolutely love this thing, it’s been my go to workhorse weapon
Anyone else have the issue where the sights on sidearms kind of drop into the gun model while firing at 105 FoV? It's really noticeable on the Rapid Fire sidearms
Kinetic Tremors feels like it currently takes too many shots when it matches the Pulse but shoots slower and the Scout only needs 6 shots to activate, I think I'd be more inclined for it if was at least 8 shots to proc but as it is I'd probably just go Frenzy and have it do more damage nearly all the time in PvE.
So drang is the alternative - can you still get that? I can't get buzzard since you need beyond light and I'm not paying for that since I already indirectly payed for it when we had beyond light with the Xbox game pass
Does range matter on this for PvE? I've got one with fluted barrel, appended mag, overflow, KT, and a stability masterwork. Range is 36 (39 if masterworked).
Yeah. Its fun and a great weapon. But my boudica-c with moving target and swashbuckler and crafted without remorse with enhanced threat detector and incandescent with invis hunter with stompees got me flawless today.
What about Pulse Monitor + Kinetic Tremors for PvE ? I figured you're gonna get shot at anyways, being upclose to enemies, may as well use that to your advantage🤷♂
I dont understand why everyone creams their pants over kinetic tremors. In this video you talk about how you deal that 28k damage yet in that very same example, it goes from 28k -> 18k -> 14k. It's the only perk that I know of that makes it deal less damage because of the stun lock but everyone still makes it out to the only perk to run on any weapon because of its theoretical damage and not its actual damage
What do you think about Buzzard compared to some of your other sidearms?
Why does nobody compare Buzzard to Allied Demand? Demand gets RF + MKC/EoTS with two great origin perks, and the stats aren't hugely better.
The Keening is my main sidearm, but buzzard is nice too

If it comes back it's gg for most other sidearms. I still have my sunset highcal/rapid hit/tap the trigger roll. Good lord it feels great to shoot
High Albido pretty awesome if you get a cracked roll
So drang is the alternative - can you still get that?
I can't get buzzard since you need beyond light and I'm not paying for that since I already indirectly payed for it when we had beyond light with the Xbox game pass
Got my adept with overflow and kinetic, would like a better roll but it seems legit. It's the only kinetic sidearm I'm feeling for pve
I need the adept version of my regular but it has high cal-ftc-vorpal and it's absolutely wonderful in legend and master lost sectors
Can you get a Buzzard by doing Heroic difficulty?
Yes, I got 2 in 4 runs so far.
Yes only its not adept.
Does range matter on this for PvE? I've got one with fluted barrel, appended mag, overflow, KT, and a stability masterwork. Range is 36 (39 if masterworked).
How many shots do you have to land in pvp for kinetic tremors to activate?
Still 12 . It’s not worth.
@@hellaboveme500 thanks that sucks
id say its 3rd place, 1st being travelers chosen and 2nd being drang. not bad though
I wish it had osmosis. Osmosis/kinetic tremors would be awesome.
Yeah. Its fun and a great weapon. But my boudica-c with moving target and swashbuckler and crafted without remorse with enhanced threat detector and incandescent with invis hunter with stompees got me flawless today.
Encore and multi is that alright?
Id say pretty good. KC and MKC aren't really my cup of tea anymore but none the less its a good roll.
What about Pulse Monitor + Kinetic Tremors for PvE ?
I figured you're gonna get shot at anyways, being upclose to enemies, may as well use that to your advantage🤷♂
One sidearm I believe is highly slept on is the lonesome, still probably my favorite to this day!
Played some guy in trials who had 25k crucible kills on a lonesome
Still have 2 rolls in my vault, doesn't drop anymore unfortunately
Does Appended Mag and regular Magazine Mod not get it to 20? Why have Adept? (Genuinely dont know if Adept is needed for 20)
Some of my favorite content on all of youtube.
Credit due for saying “since this is a side arm “ with stuttering
Basically, if you have a crafted drang or can craft a drang this thing is a waste of time to farm then right?
Armor piercing under rated for PVE shields
I have two high stability Allied Demand that seem to be equivalent.
Stats and Performance aside, it's imo the best looking sidearms in the game. it just looks so cool
I love Buzzard! Perp/range is Godroll! Adept range and range Masterwork.
