Here here. Just started listening to the deluxe version of this album on my Sony XM4's whilst walking my Westie. I'm loving this album again, especially the live version of Action this day live in Tokyo.
The shift from rock to pop is probably what threw people off when it came to this album
because of a viral sht that hot space is the worse so everybody think that the hot space is the worse. but the worse is they always listening in under pressure hahahahahahahahaha
@@m1co294Yes. EXACTLY. We loved Queen because they frikin ROCKED.... but with a creative artistic side. They had a *totally* unique sound and vibe. Nothing else like them existed. Then all of a sudden they come out with this pop disco nonsense, same as everybody and their brother was doing in the 80's. We were all in the "disco sucks!" vibe - but here comes Queen jumping right on that pop bandwagon. Hot Space was a gut punch. Talk about "reduce you to a muzak-fake machine". 🤦🏼♀️ It was like they took away the totally unique hard rockers we loved and replaced them with the damn Village People. I was gutted. Hated it.

1:21-1:44 Queen's synergy is unmatched. Besides Freddie's phenomenal voice, just look at the way he moves along with Roger's voice. Nobody else moved like him.
My personal favorite 4:17 - 4:37 - Freddie baddass! pipes, live sound and that end stage move (like Minnellis cabaret) to that cool jam.

It would have to be an upscale by default as Video was natively shot in a standard definition format. The ‘data’ just isn’t there for a true 1080P (or higher) output. Shooting in HD Video format could’ve made for a better quality but I’m not even sure true HD Video was an available option in 1982 as it was impractical for analog recordings, which I assume this was.

This song seems like a cynical/borderline sarcastic indictment of the ghettos where there not actually taking any action for their crappy neighborhood. That would make it like a proto-radio gaga, which focused on the music industry at the time. Brilliant

@@iamjudy6518 I'd say this is the version, since it has a blend of Freddie singing very well along with great musicianship. Hamburg is great vocally, but not as interesting instrumentally imo.
