You can't tell in the video but Freddie at this point was quite ill already, I can't believe how energetic and healthy he looks, but obviously as his illness worsened it became difficult to hide it, but videos like this prove how amazingly strong and brave Freddie was.
DarkSektori Roger said that they thought he's voice would be too weak and fall thru because he was so ill, Roger, Brian and John was amazed and shocked how strong and powerful his voice was. Almost more powerful then ever😀

You know what amazes me about when Freddie Mercury got sick as how gracious he remained. From everything that I have ever heard he never let his disease, and the fact that he was dying from it, make him bitter. Freddie is a example for anyone to follow in that regard, especially when faced with trial and tribulations.
Freddie Mercury was without a doubt one of if not the most talented musician there was in my opinion. The man could hit every note on his own and could play multiple instruments. Good music, great musicians never die they live on!
This man was one in a trillion... we won't have someone like him again. This voice is just pure magic! Just listen to 3:04, it gives me goose bumps all the way!
He was dying... He was giving his best during his last years... Respect this man he is not a star he is a LEGEND! R.I.P Freedie Mercury :( Edit: Thanks for the likes!
I put flowers at his statue in Montreux, Switzerland in 2001. During the season without tourists, residents of Montreux & Vevey take care that it never runs out of flowers. One of the prettiest spots on Earth I've ever seen, and since then completely understand why he went there when he needed an escape (also.. to die). He was not bothered by paparazzi & that's an awesome tribute the City paid to him with a lifesize statue. Montreux also has a 12-13th century castle nearby, Chillon.. from Lord Byron's poem "The Prisoner of Chillon". Inside castle dungeons you can still find the old instruments of torture.. For anyone interested - there are great walking tours of Montreux & Chillon on YT. It's well worth seeing, but in real life it makes you feel like you're walking through a postcard.
Brian said in the Documentary, "Days of our Lives". He said that the whole AIDS thing gave him something to do, something to get up out of bed everyday. So Freddie took his dying self and pushed himself to make his last album with the band. In Brain's interview about the song "The Show Must Go On", he was having a conversation with Freddie. Brian said that he can't hit the high notes because he was dying. But Freddie took a shot of vodka and said "I'll f*cking do it, darling" And he gave it his all. In one interview, Brian again said that they were working on "Mother Love" which Freddie called it quits. He said that Freddie was feeling very sick and said that he will record the other parts tomorrow, there was no tomorrow. Freddie died the following day and Brian completed the vocal parts himself. Freddie Mercury is the man who had AIDS but gave us some of the strongest songs in their lineup. He was the man who gave himself up for better understanding of the disease. He was the man who gave us "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "The Show Must Go On". He is the man who will be remembered from 100 years from now. Along with the greats of music, Freddie Mercury will never be forgotten.
@@orangelake2268 The line "There was no tomorrow" hits hard. I've seen war firsthand (not a vet, a teenager caught up btwn 3 sides in the 90s Balkans war).. and have learned at a young age that tomorrow isn't guaranteed to any of us. Freddie had the strength & courage to do what even most of the healthy people nowadays can't manage to do/understand: Live every day like it's the last, take as much from it as possible, tell those you love that you love them (it's not sappy, even for manliest of men!) - because if we don't, we might regret it bitterly tomorrow, or forever. Thank you for that synopsis.. I'll have to find the documentary you mentioned. Queen inspired so many other bands, including my favorite metal band: Blind Guardian. They named an album "A Night at the Opera" as a tribute to Queen (and covered a song or two of theirs, but none are on that album). Cheers to all Freddie/Queen lovers! 🥂💕

"I WANT IT ALL"
I want it all, I want it all
I want it all, and I want it now
[Verse 1: Freddie Mercury]
Adventure seeker on an empty street
Just an alley creeper light on his feet
A young fighter screaming with no time for doubt
With the pain and anger, can't see a way out
[Pre-Chorus: Freddie Mercury]
"It ain't much I'm asking," I heard him say
"Got to find me a future. Move out of my way."
[Chorus: Queen]
I want it all, I want it all
I want it all, and I want it now
I want it all, I want it all
I want it all, and I want it now
[Verse 2: Freddie Mercury]
Listen all you people, come gather round
I gotta get me a game plan, gotta shake you to the ground
Just give me what I know is mine
People do you hear me? Just give me the sign
[Pre-Chorus: Freddie Mercury]
It ain't much I'm asking, if you want the truth
Here's to the future for the dreams of youth
[Chorus: Queen]
I want it all, I want it all
I want it all, and I want it now
I want it all, I want it all
I want it all, and I want it now
[Bridge: Brian May (and Freddie Mercury)]
I'm a man with a one-track mind
So much to do in one lifetime (people do you hear me?)
Not a man for compromise
And 'wheres' and 'whys' and living lies
So I'm living it all (yes, I'm living it all)
And I'm giving it all (and I'm giving it all, ooh)
[Guitar Solo]
[Pre-Chorus: Freddie Mercury]
It ain't much I'm asking, if you want the truth
Here's to the future, hear the cry of youth
[Chorus: Queen]
I want it all, I want it all
I want it all, and I want it now
I want it all, I want it all

I guess Bowie got inspired by Freddie.

Meh, I like Queen and Freddie a lot, but in the mid-to-late 80's, everyone was dressing up like this. This was Robert Palmer's whole shtick as far back as 1985 (addicted to love) and even Rakim did it (move the crowd)

The line "There was no tomorrow" hits hard.
They named an album "A Night at the Opera" as a tribute to Queen (and covered a song or two of theirs, but none are on that album).

you saved my life
Wonderful Song!
KUY DEAN . Thanks for the lyrics , now I know the lyrics
When I first heard it, the part that says “listen all you people” I thought it said “listen naughty people”😂😂😂
At some point in your life, you will discover that you're a Queen fan. It's inevitable!
S W so true
Something tells me you just watched Avengers Endgame, cause that sounded like Thanos quote😎
How true, SW----and I'm 80 years old!
That point came for me in 1974, i think around the time of Queen II. Had the opportunity to see them live at Madison Square Garden in 1980 & 1982.
Or rediscover... after seeing the movie.
Queen is a once-in-a-lifetime band they mesh like no other the sound together is amazing and when other people try to do their music it's not the same. Queen is and will always be Freddie Brian Roger and Decay .no matter how many front men will try and step into Freddie's place it will never happen his fans are always looking for him 33 years later his true fans are still listening and shedding tears when they hear him.Freddie Mercury will always be remembered as the greatest front man ever and so much more. God Bless Queen they will forever live in our hearts. ❤
Finally an high quality remaster of this music video!

lloooooo
I wish they made more heavy stuff like this. Love Freddie's high, rock-metal vocals.
Stone Cold Crazy?
Brian was the heavy Rock guy, the one who wrote The Heavy Rock songs. They were a rock band. But Freddie wanted to get away from rock. During an interview once he said Brian writes songs I don't like. The interviewer said what's that? And Freddie said rock and roll. I thought it was insulting.
@@lorrainecimino8508 Totally agree on all counts. Brian is the hard-rock heart of Queen.
I say Freddie’s comment was probably around the time of Hot Space (1982)
Have you heard the first couple of albums? Listen to Keep Yourself Alive!
@@lorrainecimino8508 Freddie said he doesn't like Rock and Roll? when.
Queen music is timeless.
This song always makes me feel like i can achieve anything I set my mind to.This song is one of their best.

DLC ENERGY I don’t get it..
The man was from another planet. Oh that rasp in his voice.. the presence, the charisma, he was just incredible. It must have been breathtaking to meet him and to really know him as a person.
ethereal, Totally Agree
So true. The man was, and is, legendary.
Actually he wasnt any god in real life, but a loney soul that seeks for the light
His voice is heavenly
He was addicted to sex and music. He even says it in alot of his interviews. That's what he was like.

It makes us happy right

The Show Must Go On: the last roar of a legend
i think he reads every comont from gods side because he is the best friend of god
Gość miał taką charyzmę, że nawet jak stał to czuć było jego gestykulacje i osobowość !!!
Thank you, Rami Malek, for teaching me how to observe Freddie more patiently💓.
You must be young
This song is incomplete without Freddie Mercury!! 😭😭 We miss you!
this world is incomplete without Freddie
Brian said he would have loved for Freddie to perform this song in live concert.
claro porque es el que canta jajj con permisaa
Brian May has easily one of the greatest guitar tones of all time
Eric Touw definitely
You know how he got that high pitched twang like sound? He played with a quarter. No joke.
@@lloydgodfrey7832 Indeed. And funnily, he's the only one who is able to sound that good while using a coin. I tried using coins (anything from Euro cents to Dollar cents, Dubai dirhams, Hong Kong cents and even Philippine centavos), and my guitar tone always ends up sounding thin and crappy. Brian May is a magician.
Its Brian. Not Bryan.
Agreed
QUEEN for me forever, 30 years, 20 years. I want it all!!!!
When Freddie opens his mouth to sing, angels fly out.
❤😂🎉'Why do birds suddenly appear" ..etc
W so true❤
😊
True that.
02:56 aaaahh that position!!! ICONIC 💪👑
Absolutely!.🙌🏻
How did you specify that particular part of the video?

Michael Mussington that’s when you know he was feeling that moment with the music the connection. 🙌 The energy a legend pose. 🙂

Время быстро летит, как сейчас помню тот осенний питерский пасмурный день и новость о его смерти. Кажется люди с такой энергетикой должны жить вечно, но увы.
