Nice simple, informative, video mate. Thanks a lot. Whenever anyone posts something to help others , it seems you get the inevitable "experts" telling you what you did wrong. 😊
Thanks for this video, looks so much easier than I thought it would be and works out cheaper than the £70 I was quoted per side! Did it fix the knocking problem?
Yeah, they cost me about £8 each and it's not a difficult thing to do (although, I make it look difficult) - The NS that I changed in the video didn't fix the knocking... but the OS did! Plus the exhaust was making a knocking sound too (see my exhaust vid).
@@citc3pic259 I paid £26 for left and right side, went for the slightly more expensive. Was the knocking coming from the left? That seems odd that it stopped after replacing the right side! Will find out tomorrow anyway if it works.
You lowered and raised the car on the manufacturers "side of the road" jack. Next time, read the instructions on the jack. NEVER NEVER use that jack to work on a vehicle. My arms, fingers and feet are too important for your methods, thank you
Nothing wrong with using the roadside jack with an axle stand or similar. Not everyone can afford a big trolley jack. The guy has made the video to help other people. Cut him some slack.

You should loosen and tighten the wheel bolts while the wheel is on the ground, then the car is less likely to fall off the jack
i always slightly loosen the nuts on the wheel before you raise the car ,its much safer and easier 👍
Thank you for this tutorial. It has been usefull .
