Just did mine, thank you so much!! Did take me 3 hours so probably arguable it would’ve been more efficient to have just sent it to someone... but have never ever done anything like this before and wanted to give it a go. The step by step was super helpful and got there in the end. Really good video, thanks!
Nicely done video and extremely helpful. Many thanks. Infuriating how the clips break: I guess cars are made for ease of assembly on the production line without too much thought about ease of repair.
Thanks for a great video , it made it so much easier to do . I used a 13mm box spanner which was easier than a socket . Had to replace quite a few of the stupid clips and when I was putting the window switch back in it fell apart as the plastic was so brittle . Aah well that’s easy to replace when I get one
Excellent video, many thanks. Is it easy to change the middle coloured section of the door mirror if it is necessary to buy one with a different colour?
Followed your instructions, plugged everything back in, and now the new mirror folds out when it should be in and in when it should be out. Sounds like they changed the pin-outs at some point.
In case it's any help for anybody in the future, my car is a 2014 Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 Exclusive. The mirror came from WingMirrorMan.co.uk. The GREEN and YELLOW wires on the BROWN connector were the wrong way around. I used those combined solder/heatshrink sleeve tubes to fix: they're absolutely brilliant.

Ours just broke off, this is exactly what I needed. Thanks!

if you had put a little blue tack in socket and used the short bar it would not been hard to put it in. Other than that good videos.
Just done mine I couldn't see the point of the long pin I cut mine off my new mirror so I could get the socket to fit
How did you get the socket out after you dropped it ,tricky ??
What size socket is that piece to fit the bolt holding the mirror unit and what is the depth of that extension piece-many thanks in advance of reply
13mm
